We spend quite a lot of time in our lives sitting. How long we sit per day in fact depends on culture and living conditions. For example, adult Germans sit an average of 7.5 hours per day. US adults, on the other hand, are said to spend only 6.4 hours a day sitting.
Even how people prefer to sit depends on their culture. Some people like to sit comfortably on furniture designed for this purpose, whereas others prefer carpets and sitting cross-legged. Yes, some even prefer to sit on their knees.
I think these differences really are delightfully interesting.
In view of so much seating culture in the world, it seemed important to me that some of it should be urgently available in the #LIL.

Sitzend, verbringen wir recht viel Zeit unseres Lebens. Wie lange wir pro Tag sitzen, hängt sogar von der Kultur und Lebensumständen ab. Erwachsene Deutsche sitzen beispielsweise durchschnittlich 7.5 Stunden pro Tag. US-Amerikaner im Erwachsenenalter, sollen hingehen nur 6.4 Stunden am Tag sitzend verbringen.
Sogar wie gesessen wird, hängt von der Kultur ab. So sitze die einen gern Bequem auf dafür vorgesehenem Mobiliar, andere bevorzugen Teppiche und den Schneidersitz. Ja, manche ziehen es sogar eher vor, auf den Knien zu sitzen.
Ich finde diese Unterschiede wirklich entzückend interessant.
Bei so viel Sitzkultur in der Welt, erschien es mir wichtig, dass davon auch etwas in der #LIL zu finden ist.
What is LIL?
LIL is the abbreviation for "Let's make a collage Image Library". It is an initiative of the LMAC(Let's make a collage) community to build a library of images that can be used as a material source for collages but also for other aspects.
The images in it are contributed by Hive users and automatically indexed by a bot. All images indexed so far can be found on lmac.gallery. They are linked there.
Was ist LIL?
LIL ist die Abkürzung für "Let's make a collage Image Library". Es eine Initiative der LMAC(Let's make a collage)-Community, um eine Bilder-Bibliothek aufzubauen, die als Material-Quelle für Collagen aber auch für andere Dinge verwendet werden kann.
Die Bilder darin werden von Hive-Benutzern beigetragen und automatisiert von einem Bot indiziert. Alle bisher indizierten Bilder sind auf lmac.gallery zu finden. Sie sind dort verlinkt.
What I like to contribute
The images provided here by me, are all made by myself in Gimp and Blender. And I have not used any non-free materials or technologies for them.
Herewith I make them freely available via the #LIL and hope that someday someone can use them for making an artwork from it or anything else.

Die hier von mir zur Verfügung gestellten Bilder, sind allesamt von mir selbst in Gimp und Blender gemacht. Ich habe dafür keinerlei unfreie Materialien oder Technologien verwendet.

I even had made an extra effort to make them not look so real. xD :-D
They are more like raw materials (no details, no hair) with special visual material that the artists can do whatever they want with.
