Picked up some cool She-Ra figures for the store. Store is going decent all things considered and new people are finding us almost daily.

Glad to hear you’re doing well. I’d hope that if you can survive in 2020, the years ahead should be comparatively easier!

I can't see how things could be much harder, but really don't want to challenge the universe to prove me wrong...lol. Have said it more then a few times, if we make it until 2021 then I am sure we can make it until March 1st 2021, out 1 year anniversary then we can survive almost anything.

Just think you are one in a million, struggled and stressed to get your store, your products, then just as you get going this year happens. It is amazing you are being able to survive this year. Glad to hear some good news for a change out of the year of fear.

Thank you for the kind words. Only the strong survive. Our business model clearly was strong, my drive has always been strong, and my customer's loyalty is proving very strong. Looking forward to not having to work twice or three times as hard to make the same money...until then we will keep pushing forward and not become one of the many businesses that had to close their doors in Illinois.

As our State is rolling us back into further lock downs we are hearing of more businesses closing their doors each day. Including many that have been around for generations...really sad. I won't become one of those statistics.

We have had it pretty good up here in Alaska, at least the part I am in. No mandates about stores really leaving it up to the store owners. They did do a few mandatory closure things early in the beginning, but most of those rules were found to not be legal so the State left it up to local communities with the exception of the incoming to the state quarantine.

The first time our favorite place to eat out closed was from a mandate, that got lifted, and they opened. This current closure is his choice, a couple of his employees got sick, (likely the seasonal flu), but he wanted to be sure so he is closed for a few weeks.
