Continúo con la caza y descubrimiento de nuevas cerveceras americanas. En esta ocasión se trata de DankHouse Brewing Company, ubicada en Ohio, en concreto en Newark. Muy próximo a la universidad de Columbus.
También desconocía esta marca, pero siempre muy bien asesorado por mi gran amigo Alberto, Dueño de Beer Corner en Zaragoza, cayó en mis manos esta lata y espero que no sea la última.

La cerveza, tal y como muestra su etiqueta, es un guiño a esos días perfectos de montaña en los que te deslizas ladera abajo montado en tu tabla o esquís sobre nieve polvo. Difícil símil, pero la verdad es que la cerveza pese a sus casi 9º es muy refrescante. Suave y sedosa. Sin el lúpulo muy subido, pero con suficiente presencia para que no se apoderen el resto de sabores.
Además de los toques cítricos que contribuyen a la frescura de la cerveza, también encontramos notas de uva blanca y melón. Interesante combinación en una cerveza elaborada de manera impecable y con sabor adictivo.
I continue the hunt and discovery of new American breweries. This time it is DankHouse Brewing Company, located in Ohio, specifically in Newark. Very close to the University of Columbus.
I was also unaware of this brand, but always very well advised by my great friend Alberto, Owner of Beer Corner in Zaragoza, this can fell into my hands and I hope it will not be the last.

The beer, as its label shows, is a nod to those perfect mountain days when you slide down the slope on your board or skis in powder snow. Difficult simile, but the truth is that the beer, despite its almost 9º, is very refreshing. Soft and silky. Without the very high hops, but with enough presence so that the rest of the flavors do not take over.
In addition to the citrus touches that contribute to the freshness of the beer, we also find notes of white grape and melon. Interesting combination in a beer brewed impeccably and with an addictive flavor.
