Feliz tarde amigos de Hive, de corazón deseo que se encuentren muy bien. Por aquí les dejo un breve relato que describe una situación a la que muchos de ustedes quizás se han enfrentado. Espero que les guste.
Rebeca añora el final feliz, propio y común de toda historia romántica. Pero luego de esperar con tanto anhelo el amor sin encontrarlo, decide divorciarse de esa ilusión. Ya está exhausta de ver como a todas sus amigas se les cumple ese deseo y aunque siente felicidad por cada una de ellas, continúa sufriendo por no ver materializado su sueño.
Así que decide enterrar ese deseo, desaparecerlo de su cerebro, arrojarlo al vacío. Rebeca decide ser solo un testigo ocular de todos los idilios que adornan el entorno. Sobria y solitaria acepta con madurez que es unicelular. Callada y temerosa rehúsa unirse a cualquier ilusión que la quiera atrapar, pues ya ha sido víctima de muchos espejismos. Contempla el apogeo de sus amigas, pero lo hace desde lejos, no sea que por debilidad de nuevo anide en su ser esa ilusión que lo que ha hecho es llevarla a los lugares más oscuros del subsuelo.
Sin prisa, pero con determinación avanza en dirección opuesta, ya no es capaz de darle ni la más ínfima importancia a las fantasías, que en su momento fueron protagonistas en su vida. Las expectativas que no se le cumplieron la convirtieron en la mujer más ecuánime y objetiva que puede existir. Abriendo sus alas emprende un doloroso vuelo con la convicción de que al otro lado del universo encontrará otros seres unicelulares, que han logrado conocer la felicidad viviendo en soledad.
Happy afternoon friends of Hive, from the bottom of my heart I wish you all well. Here is a short story that describes a situation that many of you may have faced. I hope you like it.
Rebeca longs for the happy ending that is common to all romantic stories. But after waiting so longingly for love without finding it, she decides to divorce herself from that illusion. She is already exhausted of seeing how all her friends are fulfilled that wish and although she feels happiness for each of them, she continues to suffer for not seeing her dream materialize.
So she decides to bury that wish, to disappear from her brain, to throw it into the void. Rebeca decides to be just an eyewitness of all the idylls that adorn the environment. Sober and solitary, she accepts with maturity that she is unicellular. Quiet and fearful, she refuses to join any illusion that wants to trap her, for she has already been the victim of many mirages. She contemplates the apogee of her friends, but she does so from afar, lest through weakness, that illusion nest in her being once again, which has taken her to the darkest places of the subsoil.
Without haste, but with determination she moves in the opposite direction, she is no longer able to give even the slightest importance to the fantasies that were once the protagonists of her life. The expectations that were not fulfilled turned her into the most equanimous and objective woman that can exist. Spreading her wings, she embarks on a painful flight with the conviction that on the other side of the universe she will find other unicellular beings, who have managed to know happiness living in solitude.
