I hope all of you be fine with excellent health.
For this post I would like to show the process to make the lust illustration drawing. you know that I am drawing all of the 7 deadly sin with my style of drawing. This is a pathnership work with a illustrator friend. You will see what we are going to do with these illustrations, it is a surprise.
Well at first I made a sketch of a woman holding a banana and apple. I thought these fruit can be a metaphor about our sexual organs, for this illustration of lust I wanted to make a soft image, something not to explicit and tried to avoid obscene context. But this first sketch I did not liked at all.
So at the second sketch I changed the point of view towards main character: legs open and emphasizing the face expressions (biting lips and clouse eyes) showing the pleasure and the joy of playing with herself. After that I was thinking on how to show the sexual interconexions of she and other people with the same idea of avoid explicit images and I remember the concept of bananas and apple. I decided to add a lot of these fruit around her. Big, small, thick and thin bananas and apple. When I see the total composition of drawing I realy like it, I think it was a good way to show the idea of "lust" in a creative way.

When I showed it to my girlfriend she told me that I shold add a version of men too, she does not like that concept was only showing one woman, because people can generalize and think that lust is only for women. It was a good observation, and I undertand her point of view but I explained to her that this serie of 7 deadly sins are focus on female characters (have you seen my previous posts of it?), just because as an artist is difficult draw female characters and it just a way to practice and improve. Of course the "lust" can be in men and women.
Which is your point of view about lust? It is good? or it is an evil enjoy our sexuality? Would be really nice to ear about your opions about this interesting theme.

Your illustrations, this and the earlier ones are quite interesting! You should make them final pieces for distribution, if it's your goal.
Right now is a partnership project, we have not thinking to market it yet. But if it comes really nice maybe we can find some sponsorship to make more illustrations like this. Thanks for your comment!
