We're thrilled to announce the release of Actifit Android v0.14.0, codenamed "Momentum" β and it lives up to the name. This is by far the most comprehensive update we've shipped, touching nearly every screen in the app with a modern redesign, powerful new features, and a long list of fixes and polish.

π¨ Full Dashboard Overhaul
The dashboard has been completely rebuilt from the ground up with Material Design 3, bringing a cleaner, more modern look and feel that puts your fitness data front and center.
Here's what's new on your home screen:
- 7-Day Streak Strip β A new consistency tracker showing your last 7 days at a glance. Stay on your streak and keep that momentum going! π₯
- Monthly Activity Heatmap β Visualize your entire month of activity in a beautiful calendar grid. See your patterns, spot your gaps, and stay motivated.
- Community Feed Preview β A live strip of recent Actifit community posts right on your dashboard, keeping you connected to fellow fitness earners.
- Upgraded News Carousel β Now includes tweet/social slides with profile images, media backgrounds, and a Like button β all without leaving the app.
- Smarter Reward Nudge Card β Tracks all reward tiers and gives you the right nudge at the right moment to hit your next milestone.
π GPS Route Map Tracking
You can now track your GPS route during activities and view your path on a map after your session. Whether you're running, cycling, or hiking β your route is recorded and displayed right inside Actifit. πΊοΈ
π Health Connect Improvements
We've significantly improved the Health Connect experience:
- New Permission Banner β Instead of a tiny buried icon, a clear banner now appears at the top of your dashboard when Health Connect permissions are needed. Dismiss it when you're not ready, and a small icon in the step card keeps the option accessible anytime.
- Parallel Step History Tables β HC step data now powers your history charts and monthly heatmap with dedicated data tables for faster, more reliable sync.
- Step Ring Fix β The step ring now stays visible while permissions are pending, so your dashboard never looks broken.
πΌ Wallet Redesign
The wallet screen has been completely redesigned with Material Design 3 accordion sections for a cleaner, more organized layout:
- New Hive Transactions section to review your on-chain activity
- Hive Engine token list is now scrollable with a proper empty state when no tokens are found
- Fixed Hive Engine balance loading reliability
- Improved AFIT, HIVE, and HBD balance display
βοΈ Post Screen Redesign
Composing your daily activity report is now smoother than ever:
- Cleaner editor layout with an improved toolbar
- Smarter tag input β tags now convert automatically on space, comma, or paste
- Better expand mode for distraction-free writing
- Post & Earn FAB extends and shrinks as you scroll
π Achievement Flex Cards
New visual achievement cards let you celebrate and share your fitness milestones directly to social media. Hit a goal? Flex it! πͺπ±
πΌοΈ Enhanced Post Image Carousel
Browsing posts in your feed is now much smoother:
- Navigation arrows and dots indicator for multi-image posts
- Loading spinners so you always know content is on the way
- Fixed image recycling artifacts that caused incorrect previews
πΎ Backup & Restore
You can now back up and restore your Actifit database and app preferences locally β protecting your activity history, settings, and data even when switching devices. Available in all 13 supported languages. π
βοΈ Settings & Other Screens
- Login screen redesigned with Material Design 3
- Settings screen rebuilt with MD3 card layout for a much cleaner look
- Leaderboard, Social, Market, and Activity History screens all received UX improvements and bug fixes
π§ Under the Hood
- Offline QR Scanner β Replaced Google ML Kit with a fully device-local ZXing scanner. No network dependency, faster and more private.
- Hive RPC Fallback β Improved blockchain reliability with automatic fallback to alternative nodes when the primary is unavailable.
- Android 16 compatibility β Fixed crashes on the latest Android release.
- Tutorial video now opens correctly in the YouTube app.
- Dark mode text and button fixes across multiple screens.
- Discussions modal crashes resolved.
- Reward claim button animation fixed.
- 13 languages refreshed with new translations throughout.

bigups fpr the social tab... quite happy to have an in-app way to browse some reports... is that actually new, or did i just never notice before the redesign?
