Our story is set in the majestic land of Britannia. Imagine a world with castles, magic galore, and a super-clear hierarchy. The protectors of the kingdom, the masters of national security, are the Holy Knights. But ten years ago, the most powerful squad, the elite group, the crème de la crème, went down the drain. I'm talking about The Seven Deadly Sins. These guys and girls were the first line of defense, with skills that defied all logic. But each of them carried an infamous title, a deadly sin that was imposed on them or that they committed in the past. The Dragon's Sin of Wrath, the Serpent's Sin of Envy, the Fox's Sin of Greed—a collection of dangerous characters. Things get ugly when they are accused, overnight, of attempting a coup d'état and, worse still, of assassinating the Great Holy Knight, Zaratras. They had to disperse and became the dark legend, the most wanted criminals, with posters all over Britannia that were scarier than any demon. Ten years pass. Ten years of tyranny. The Holy Knights, under the leadership of Grand Masters Hendrickson and Dreyfus, have become a scourge. They have kidnapped the King and rule the kingdom of Liones with an iron fist and an iron fist that you wouldn't believe. This is where our heroine, Princess Elizabeth Liones, comes in. She is the third princess, a girl with a heart of gold and courage that many warriors would dream of. Knowing that the Holy Knights are the threat, not the salvation, she decides to take a chance. She disguises herself in old, rusty armor and escapes from the castle. Her mission is to find the only ones who can stand up to the tyranny, those people label as villains, the Seven Deadly Sins.

Elizabeth, starving and exhausted, arrives at the strangest tavern imaginable, the Boar Hat. It's a place that looks like a poorly made shack and is mounted on a giant pig, a talking pig named Hawk! This pig is in charge of cleaning up the leftovers and is a source of brutal comic relief, the owner and bartender of the tavern is a little boy. Yes, a boy who looks about 12 years old, short, and who has a dragon symbol, that boy is Meliodas, the Dragon's Sin of Wrath himself, the captain of the Deadly Sins. Elizabeth, surprised but with renewed hope, tells him her story. Meliodas, who is deep down a noble crack and who carries a great weight on his shoulders, agrees to help her. Together, Meliodas and Elizabeth, accompanied by the always complaining Hawk, begin an adventure throughout Britannia to reunite the gang. The first to appear is Diane, the Serpent of Envy. A giantess, a hulking behemoth with brown hair and incredible strength. She's hiding in the Forest of White Dreams. Diane is sensitive, super emotional, and, mind you, madly in love with Meliodas, but she feels insecure about her size—a very cool personal drama that gives depth to the character. Then we meet Ban, the Fox of Greed. This guy is a legend. He's an immortal human. He drank the water from the Fountain of Eternal Youth, and because of that, there's no one who can kill him. He's a tough, sarcastic guy with a hooligan style and a penchant for fighting that leads him to have fights to the death with his captain just for fun. His quest, however, runs much deeper, as he yearns to revive the person he loved and who was the reason for his immortality. He's Meliodas's best friend, and his loyalty, despite his sin, is unwavering. Along the way, they cross paths with King, the Bear of Sloth. He's the King of the Fairies, but he's a small boy who's always floating on a pillow that's actually his sacred treasure, the Spirit Spear Chastiefol. King is a tormented character. Burdened with guilt for the destruction of his forest and for abandoning his people, and deeply in love with Diane, although she doesn't remember him entirely. His power to control nature is mind-blowing, but he's the most cowardly and the one who complains the most.
Elizabeth, muerta de hambre y agotada, llega a la taberna más rara que uno se puede imaginar, el Boar Hat. Su búsqueda, sin embargo, es mucho más profunda, ya que anhela revivir a la persona que amó y que fue la razón de su inmortalidad. As they gather the Sins, they realize the threat is far greater than just a few corrupt Holy Knights. The leaders, Hendrickson and Dreyfus, are experimenting wildly. They're using demon blood from a demon they themselves unearthed to create a New Generation of Holy Knights possessing brutal demonic power. Elizabeth, being around the Sins and risking her life, begins to awaken a latent power she possesses: a ridiculously powerful healing and cleansing ability, which is the first hint of her true identity. And Meliodas, for his part, must begin to harness his true power. In a moment of rage at being unable to protect Elizabeth, he briefly unleashes a dark aura and a strength that terrifies even his companions the mark that he is not just the Sin of Wrath, but a high-ranking demon with thousands of years of life under his belt. The end of this first part comes with the battle to save the Kingdom's Capital. Hendrickson, in his madness, plans to break the seal imprisoning the entire demon race. The Sins, joining with some loyal Holy Knights, engage in a pitched battle. They manage to stop Hendrickson, who is mutated by demon blood, but the damage is done. The seal weakens. And before they can taste victory, the air is filled with an ominous energy. The coup is over, but the true terror is about to arrive.

We ended the first part with the coup d'état neutralized, but with the real problem fresh out of the oven: the seal had been weakened and the Demon Clan had returned, with the fearsome Ten Commandments at the forefront. This isn't a simple conflict; it's the cursed Holy War that's unleashed once again, after three thousand years. With the seal broken, terror grips Britannia. The Ten Commandments are the elite of the Demon Clan, each with great power and a Commandment that imposes absolute rule. For example, if you confront the Piety of Zeldris, you become its slave; if you lose faith to the Faith of Melascula, your eyes burn out. In the midst of this chaos, the seventh Deadly Sin finally appears, Merlin, the Boar of Gluttony and the most powerful mage in all of Britannia. She is a genius strategist, a brainiac older than Methuselah, whose power allows her to maintain immortality and manipulate magic as she pleases. Her return is vital, but even with her, the balance tips toward the demonic side. The turning point comes when Meliodas, the captain, comes face to face with his past. The Commandments, led by his own brother, Zeldris, and the mysterious Estarossa, Meliodas is not just a demon; he is the son of the Demon King himself and the original leader of the Ten Commandments. Three millennia ago, for love, he betrayed his own clan.
Acabamos la primera parte con el golpe de estado neutralizado, pero con el verdadero problema recién salido del horno el sello se habÃa debilitado y el Clan Demonio habÃa regresado, con los temibles Diez Mandamientos a la cabeza. Esto no es un simple conflicto, es la maldita Guerra Santa que se desata de nuevo, después de tres mil años. Con el sello roto, el terror se apodera de Britannia. Los Diez Mandamientos son la élite del Clan Demonio, cada uno con un poder grande y un Mandamiento que impone una regla absoluta. Por ejemplo, si te enfrentas a la Piedad de Zeldris, te conviertes en su esclavo si pierdes la fe ante la Fe de Melascula, tus ojos se queman. En medio de este desmadre, aparece por fin el séptimo Pecado Capital, MerlÃn, el Jabalà de la Gula y la maga más poderosa de toda Britannia. Ella es una genio estratega, una cerebrito que tiene más años que Matusalén y cuyo poder le permite mantener la inmortalidad y manipular la magia como quiere. Su regreso es vital, pero incluso con ella, la balanza se inclina hacia el lado demonÃaco. El punto de inflexión llega cuando Meliodas, el capitán, se encuentra cara a cara con su pasado. Los Mandamientos, liderados por su propio hermano, Zeldris, y el misterioso Estarossa, Meliodas no es solo un demonio, es el hijo del mismÃsimo Rey Demonio y el lÃder original de los Diez Mandamientos. In a brutal confrontation, where Meliodas tries to protect Elizabeth and his companions, he is killed. But it is no ordinary death; it is the trigger for understanding the tragedy of his existence. Here the real drama is revealed, the curse that has tormented Meliodas and Elizabeth for three thousand years. The Demon King cursed him with immortality; he cannot die, but every time he is killed, he is resurrected in Purgatory. And each time he returns, his demonic side grows stronger, and his human emotions and feelings erode. He becomes colder, crueler, more similar to his former self. Elizabeth was cursed by the Supreme Deity with reincarnation. Every time she dies, she is resurrected as a human, but there is a countdown. If she ever remembers her past life as a Goddess and her relationship with Meliodas, she dies three days later. It is an eternal cycle of tragic love: Meliodas finds her, they fall in love, she remembers, she dies. Madness. While Meliodas is in Purgatory regaining his power, the Commandments do as they please. This is where Escanor, the Lion of Pride, the last Sin to be found, becomes the MVP. This man is the total imbalance. His power transforms him from a skinny, trembling man into a ripped giant. By midday, he has practically divine power. Escanor takes on several Commandments, including a showdown with Estarossa that is pure cinema, proving his pride is justified.
En un enfrentamiento brutal, donde Meliodas intenta proteger a Elizabeth y a sus compañeros, es asesinado. Pero no es una muerte común, es el detonante para entender la tragedia de su existencia. Aquà se destapa el drama real, la maldición que ha atormentado a Meliodas y Elizabeth durante tres mil años. El Rey Demonio lo maldijo con la inmortalidad, no puede morir, pero cada vez que lo matan resucita en el Purgatorio. Y cada vez que vuelve, su lado demonÃaco se fortalece, y sus emociones y sentimientos humanos se erosionan. Se va volviendo más frÃo, más cruel, más parecido a quien fue en el pasado. A Elizabeth la Deidad Suprema la maldijo con la reencarnación. Cada vez que muere, resucita como humana pero tiene una cuenta regresiva. Si llega a recordar su vida pasada como Diosa y su relación con Meliodas, muere a los tres dÃas. Es un ciclo eterno de amor trágico Meliodas la encuentra, se enamoran, ella recuerda, ella muere. Una locura. Mientras Meliodas está en el Purgatorio recuperando su poder, los Mandamientos hacen lo que quieren. Aquà es donde Escanor, el León del Orgullo, el último Pecado en ser encontrado, se convierte en el MVP. Este hombre es el desequilibrio total. When Meliodas returns, he is not the same. He has regained an immense portion of his original power, but at the cost of his feelings. He becomes a dark and cold Meliodas. His new and sole goal is to absorb all the power of the Ten Commandments and become the Demon King to destroy the curses once and for all. The Deadly Sins gang faces the worst of battles trying to save their captain from himself. The war turns against Meliodas, while Elizabeth, with her goddess power fully awakened, tries to heal his soul. Meliodas and Elizabeth's story is intertwined with the betrayal of the original wizard Gowther and the revelation that Estarossa was actually the Archangel Mael, the victim of mental manipulation. The series culminates in the epic confrontation against the Demon King and the Supreme Deity, with the Sins, including Ban, who traveled to Purgatory to recover the captain's emotions, joining forces. Eventually, they manage to defeat the clan leaders, breaking the curses for good. With peace restored and the curses broken, Meliodas and Elizabeth marry, he becomes King of Liones, and the Sins go their separate ways, finding their own redemption. Escanor, in the noblest sacrifice of all, uses his full power and dies, proud and at peace.
