That picture sends a chill through me. We've had a tree fall on the house (not this house...former house), and we had a 13-day blackout with Super Storm Sandy. This year we bought two power stations, a 2200W Jackery solar generator, a 300W Grecell Solar Generator and a portable solar panel. These are just stop gaps so we can power a couple of essential items. Problem is, we never used any of this and it would probably take a while to get ourselves acclimated and get the stuff charged up. I think it's time we pulled these toys out and got ready for storm season. Ugh :)))

I've heard really good things about the Jackery brand, so kudos to you on that. I have been wanting to get small solar solution for our travel trailer. I think something really simple would be a good move to give us some peace of mind and to dip my toes into the solar world.
