The narrative repeatedly reminds us that much of what this game depicts—violence, destruction, deception—is mirrored in our real-world history. It questions why we hesitate to see the truth behind layers of societal masks. The "story" is presented as an unending cycle of conflict, reinforcing the idea that history repeats and our tendencies towards self-destruction remain unresolved.
The ironic "self-proclaimed 'king' of the surrounds" and the endless loop of murder, fear, and nihilism serve as metaphors for ego, power, and mankind's often futile battle to find meaning within chaos.
