Just a few years ago, BYD had no dedicated means to ship their vehicles internationally. Today, they boast a formidable fleet of eight purpose-built car carriers capable of transporting over 1 million vehicles annually worldwide. This fleet’s latest addition, the vessel called Biody Gan, has just begun operations, completing their fleet of specialized roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) ships designed specifically for wheeled cargo. These ships, with capacities ranging from 7,200 to 9,000 cars per vessel, are enabling BYD to dramatically improve their logistics efficiency and cost structure.
