Part 2/9:
In Q3 2025, Rivian reported 13,201 vehicle deliveries, slightly surpassing their internal forecast of 12,955. These deliveries came from the production of approximately 10,700 vehicles, with the remainder being fulfilled from their inventory of roughly 2,500 units. This results in a modest beat of 246 units over expectations—a positive sign, but not a game-changer.
Looking at the annual picture, Rivian aims to deliver between 41,500 and 43,500 vehicles for the entire year. Considering September alone saw Xpang (XPeng) hit the 40,000 mark in one month, Rivian’s projection covers a similar full-year total, suggesting they’re on the right track to meet their goals but still face hurdles in hitting the upper bounds.
