Part 6/13:
The most infamous of his picks is "365 Days", a film that soared to the top of Netflix’s charts despite its many flaws. It became the #1 viewed film for over a week, not because of its quality, but due to its over-the-top, bizarre content that combines poor acting, grotesque dialogue, and an incoherent plot.
Van Damme describes it as a “knockoff” of Fifty Shades of Grey, which itself was a sensationalized mediocrity. The film is infamous for its abhorrent music choices, poorly delivered lines, and controversial sex scenes — including graphic portrayals of force and non-consensual acts. Despite attempts at provocative storytelling, the movie falls flat, offering little more than an uncomfortable mix of bad acting and unfocused narrative.
