Part 7/11:
Directed by Brandon Cronenberg, Possessor exemplifies body horror and cerebral storytelling. It revolves around an assassin who can possess others to carry out murders, blurring identity and reality. Visually striking and extremely violent, the film is highly stylized, with a narrative that is hard to follow at times. Fans of Cronenberg’s father’s work or intense, artful horror will find much to admire here, though it’s definitely not for the faint-hearted.
