Do you support Greta Thunberg and the children who are anxious about the environment protection?
Greetings Steemians!
On last Friday, millions of students joined school strike on climate change and protested against the environmental degradation all over the world. They demanded urgent action against climate change. Last year a Swedish school girl 16 year old Greta Thunberg had protested against the same and these students were inspired by her.
It is good to see that youngsters are against the climate change because they are our future and will suffer severely by the changing global climate. We almost have destroyed our environment and have left their future uncertain and insecure.
Do you support Greta Thunberg and the children who are anxious about the environment protection?

that I believe that like everything else in nature, the climate is cyclical and is not influenced by human actions. Yes, we are polluting, but pollution does not cause climate change. I believe that these kids begging politicians to control the climate is akin to asking them to cap a volcano.
Climate change is cyclic and natural but, our action also influence it. In my city-where there are buildings and roads have been constructed, we face extreme heat during summers but, when we cross an area of jungle, temperature drops suddenly 2-3 degree Celsius. So, our actions have impact on climate to some extent. We also have eradicated large forest areas and have destroyed many living creatures. So, it should be stopped.

"Anxious" is a weak way of putting it. Anyone who says "they are small children who don't know about reality", go out and actually debate this kid on environmental science. This kid is out using her privilege for good. This is also far from just kids out there protesting. Trying to belittle them for their age while ignoring their knowledge shows your willful ignorance on the subject of climate change. Even if you do not think they are right, one has every right to peacefully protest. If you do not support that, please take your anti-liberty ass elsewhere.
