Hola chicos, feliz fin de semana! Estoy muy emocionada de compartir hoy este dibujo, ya que esta vez he utilizado dos programas para llegar a este resultado, como muchos sabrán, esta técnica de pintura digital que simula un poco la pintura real, oleo, acrílicos, etc, me encanta, pero a veces no quedo 100% satisfecha, hoy recordé que tengo un programa que tiene todas las herramientas para complementar ese lado rustico de los dibujo que tanto me gusta, Artrage es un programa que tiene diferentes pinceles y herramientas que simulan bastante bien el óleo, espátulas, pinceles de acuarela, entre otros, pero la verdad es que tengo este programa instalado desde hace casi dos años y no lo había usado porque se me hacia algo complicado manejarlo con la Tablet, ya que debo configurar los botones de diferente forma para poder usarlos, pero hoy tome valor y trabaje un poco con el mouse, el lápiz de la Tablet y algunas teclas de acceso rápido que si estaban bien configuradas aun no comprendo muy bien el funcionamiento de cada herramienta y las diferentes mezclas que se pueden lograr pero quise hacer la prueba esta vez y quedo muy bien. I am very excited to share today this drawing, since this time I have used two programs to reach this result, as many of you know, this digital painting technique that simulates a little bit the real painting, oil, acrylics, etc, I love it, but sometimes I am not 100% satisfied, today I remembered that I have a program that has all the tools to complement that rustic side of the drawing that I like so much, Artrage is a program that has different brushes and tools that simulate quite well the oil, palette knives, watercolor brushes, among others, but the truth is that I have this program installed for almost two years and I had not used it because it was somewhat complicated to handle it with the Tablet, since I have to configure the buttons in different ways to use them, but today I took courage and worked a little with the mouse, the pencil of the Tablet and some hot keys that were well configured even I do not understand very well the operation of each tool and the different mixtures that can be achieved but I wanted to test this time and it was very good.

Proceso/Process

Comencé mi boceto en Photoshop, la ide que tenia al principio seria algo bastante realista y con detalles de fantasía que pensaba colocar mas adelante, sin embargo, comencé a pintar y todo cambio de rumbo. Utilice una paleta de colores bastante clara, donde aplique tonos crema, beige, marrones claros y naranja, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para formar completamente el rostro, pinté el cabello con marrón oscuro y comencé a mezclar cada color del rostro dejando una piel mas lisa pero con un poco de textura.

I started my sketch in Photoshop, the idea I had at the beginning was something quite realistic and with fantasy details that I thought I would place later, however, I started to paint and everything changed course. I used a very clear color palette, where I applied cream, beige, light brown and orange tones, in a new layer I added more colors to completely form the face, I painted the hair with dark brown and began to mix each color of the face leaving a smoother skin but with a little texture.

Para este punto, quise hacer esa técnica de pintura, que tanto me gusta, comencé a pintar el torso con pinceladas rusticas, luego añadí detalles de luz al cabello y decidí probar ArtRage porque no estaba satisfecha con el efecto en Photoshop, normalmente siempre lo hago ahí pero sentía que esta vez algo no encajaba, asi que abrí este programa y comencé a explorar entre pinceles y texturas para realizar algunos detalles de color que simulan pintura real, me pareció muy genial agregar estos colores que hacen una diferencia con la paleta de color de todo el dibujo, además de agregarle ese estilo desaliñado que buscaba, después de explorar un rato y estar conforme con el resultado, guarde la imagen y volví a Photoshop, donde realice un leve ajuste de color, saturación y además, agregar algunos puntos de luz en el rostro.

For this point, I wanted to do that painting technique, that I like so much, I started painting the torso with rustic brush strokes, then I added light details to the hair and decided to try ArtRage because I was not satisfied with the effect in Photoshop, normally I always do it there but I felt that this time something did not fit, so I opened this program and started exploring between brushes and textures to make some color details that simulate real painting, I thought it was very cool to add these colors that make a difference with the color palette of the whole drawing, besides adding that scruffy style I was looking for, after exploring for a while and being happy with the result, I saved the image and went back to Photoshop, where I made a slight adjustment of color, saturation and also add some points of light in the face.
