Strange nuances

Buenas noches a todos. Hoy por fin me anime a dibujar después de estos días que han sido bastante raros jajaja, me anime a tomar mi Tablet y realizar un retrato pero quería tomar un camino un poco diferente asi que esta vez utilicé colores azules y dos colores que resaltarían entre tantas tonalidades azules. Un contraste muy llamativo, me pareció una idea hermosa y realmente me gusto bastante, los labios rojos siempre se ven sensuales y con este plus de color que elegí resaltan muchísimo más, los ojos quise colocarlos azules, pero no quedaba bien asi que al final elegí un color marrón. Espero que les guste.

Good evening, everyone. Today I finally got the courage to draw after these rather strange days, ha ha ha. I decided to take my tablet and do a portrait, but I wanted to take a slightly different approach, so this time I used blue colors and two colors that would stand out among so many shades of blue. It's a very striking contrast. I thought it was a beautiful idea, and I really liked it. Red lips always look sensual, and with this extra color I chose, they stand out even more. I wanted to make the eyes blue, but it didn't look right, so in the end, I chose brown. I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto y comencé a pintar sobre una base azul oscuro, para la piel coloque azules claros y oscuros, la mayoría tonos desaturados y definiendo muy bien las luces y sombras, en una nueva capa fui agregando mas colores hasta formar el rostro por completo y luego comenzar a mezclar todos los colores con un pincel difuso paras dejar un acabado suave.

I made the sketch and began painting on a dark blue base. For the skin, I used light and dark blues, mostly desaturated tones, defining the lights and shadows very well. On a new layer, I added more colors until the face was completely formed, and then I began to blend all the colors with a diffuse brush to leave a smooth finish.

Luego detalle mas los ojos pintando las cejas y pestañas, para el cabello use un azul medio y luego agregue luces y sombras con azules mas claros y otros un poco más oscuros, decidí cambiar el fondo a un azul claro y luego añadí el toque de contraste al dibujo pintando los labios de rojo y los ojos de marrón. Finalice realizando un leve ajuste de color y obviamente agregando luces para resaltar los ojos, labios y nariz.

Then add more detail to the eyes by painting the eyebrows and eyelashes. For the hair, use a medium blue and then add highlights and shadows with lighter blues and slightly darker ones. I decided to change the background to a light blue and then added a touch of contrast to the drawing by painting the lips red and the eyes brown. I finished by making a slight color adjustment and, of course, adding highlights to accentuate the eyes, lips, and nose.
