Walking along the Forbidden City

in SublimeSundaylast year

Walking through the massive red gates and golden roofs you are instantly transportet back to imperial China. The Forbidden City was the imperial palace of China in the center of Beijing. The Chinese emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties lived and ruled there until the revolution, it was build between 1406 - 1420, you feel very small here. The best time to visit is is in spring, it is perfect for a walk.
