Ford Airport Day, part 2, the old cars at the show.

in #car-show6 years ago

Hello, steemians, and welcome to my page, eh!

Last Saturday was the annual Ford Airport Day at the local airport here in town.

In part one of this series, I showed you some of the airplanes that were at the show. The link to that post is here.

In this post, I'll show you some of the old cars that were at the little car show that also happens at this annual event.
The first car that I took a picture of was this one. I'm not sure who made this car, but I think it's a cool looking late 1930s car.

The next car is this Ford Model A hotrod. You can see that it has been modified, but it's a good looking hotrod. Behind that was a 1957 Chevy.

Then there was this really nice early Ford Model T pickup.

Another nice Model T sedan.

I think my favorite car at this show was this original equipment Ford 2 door coupe. This car has the original flat head V-8 engine and it's nicely redone. I think this car is still a work in progress.

For my last picture for this post, here I am with the the car.

That's all I have for this post, I hope you found the pictures interesting!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my pictures, eh!

I love these photos of old timers. It is always nice to seem the progression from old to new.

i like old cars like this because they seem simple enough that i might understand how to fix them. tech is so complicated today that you need a minor college degree to understand a smart phone

I agree! I think that's part of why I like these old cars also. I'd like to have my old 1963 Ford Falcon back again, that car was pretty simple to maintain.

Some great looking pieces there. I like the Model T's.
Wonder how many hours were spent restoring those.

Quite a few hours, I would imagine.

Quite an old bunch there. :-)

There was a fair amount of newer old cars that I didn't take pictures of, you can see part of some of them in the background of some of the pictures. :-)

Older the better. :-)
