Since government is just a kind of gang, that is exactly what all gangs organized well enough actually do. Lysander had the right of it. A friend of mine mentioned that he had worked out how much tax he paid and said he worked one day a week for government. That's 4.3 days a month enslaved. The sad part is he worked 4 10 hour days a week, so he only worked 3 days a week for himself and his family.
