I noticed the pic server was having issues. After a while pics did show up.
I reuploaded the pic, too.
It worked after that, for me.
It was weird that the thumbnail was there, but the pic on the post wasn't.
I experienced exactly the opposite problem, that when I posted a pic I didn't see it, but it later did become visible. At first I thought it was me, but later realized, because pics started showing up, that something was up with the server.
It does appear to be the pic server.
So, like most things in the hive that break, it will be back soon™.
It seems to have recovered. However, the introduction of AI has begun to replace people on Hive, and soon it won't matter because people posting content can't outcompete AI scarfing up the remaining 1% of the tokens we are today left.
