DC was a swamp.
There is a picture of the "Lincoln Memorial" sitting out in the swamp, before they drained it to build the Whitehouse.
So, instead of drain the swamp, is the correct term, flood the swamp, and then drain it again?
At this point, I just don't know how folks still play along in that game.
