Today, I bring to you the art in science.
Many of us feel that science is all about... well, science. But no, there is art in science, and today, I’ve shown you a piece of it.
The cellular structures here were drawn by me, yes, both an artist and a scientist. These receptors, the cell membrane, ligands and all!
This illustration shows receptor-mediated endocytosis, a method by which cells allow external molecules, such as vitamins and hormones (or ligands in general), to enter the cell.
