This is another one of those PeakD update posts where the individual commits are not all huge by themselves, but the full release feels much more meaningful when everything is bundled together.
So instead of doing a commit-by-commit changelog, here are the main things users are more likely to notice.

Magi swaps directly in the wallet
The Magi wallet section now has a Quick Swap option powered by the Magi widget. Kudos to @yozen and the @magi.network team for supporting this integration.
With the new widget you can swap HIVE and HBD on the Magi network from inside the PeakD wallet (https://peakd.com/wallet/vsc), using the wallet method you already use on PeakD. The widget is only available when viewing your own Magi wallet.

Magi is still a newer network, so be sure to review the swap pool liquidity before doing any major swap.
DecentMemes support in the editor
The GIF picker has been reworked to support both Tenor and DecentMemes by @acidyo (more details in this post).
You can now create a meme from the editor flow and insert it directly into posts, replies, comments, and snaps. PeakD also keeps track of the DecentMemes metadata and required beneficiaries, so generated memes can properly include the expected beneficiary setup for the template submitter or creator.

Expect more fine tuning and improvements as this integration is still in the early stages.
Code blocks finally look like code blocks
Posts and comments now support syntax highlighting for code blocks. Thanks @rishi556 for requesting this change.
This matters a lot if you write technical content, guides, scripts, dev notes, configuration examples, or anything with styled code blocks. PeakD now keeps language classes from markdown code fences and dynamically loads the highlighting logic, so the main app does not get heavier or slower for everyone just because some posts contain code.
The practical result is simple: code blocks are easier to read, long lines behave better, and dark mode no longer makes code feel like a forgotten white rectangle.
const answer = 42;
console.log(`The answer to life, the universe, and everything is ${answer}.`);
A new 75% HP / 25% HBD reward option
Another small change suggested by the community (thanks @erikah). There is now a new post reward setting between the usual 50/50 payout and the 100% Hive Power option: 75% HP and 25% HBD.
This option is available in the publish flow and in the default post reward setting. I like this one because it gives authors a little more flexibility without adding a complicated reward matrix. Some people want more HP accumulation, but not necessarily the full 100% power-up route every single time.
Other useful improvements
A few smaller but still practical updates landed too. The witness vote modal now shows votes ordered by voting power instead of using the older alphabetical layout, which makes it much easier to understand who is supporting a witness and how much weight is behind those votes.

The wallet sidebar now shows the HIVE price in BTC (suggested by @antisocialist), conversion and savings withdrawal requests are sorted more clearly, snaps have easier access to downvote actions for spam handling, and author tooltips now support touch-hold behavior on mobile.

There was also some maintenance work: image proxy authentication was fixed for PeakLock users, old DLux.io and Splintertalk verified profile picture support was removed, settings text around image servers was cleaned up, and a few legacy files/references were dropped. If you want to check the full (boring) list the changelog is available here.
Feedback welcome
As usual, if something in this release feels better, worse, confusing, or broken on your side, let me know. And of course reach out with suggestions and ideas on new things you would like to see on PeakD.
I am guessing you are going to Barcelona! Road trip? So envious!
Yea, thinking about it. It's already marked in the Calender - driving would be possible ... a roadtrip sounds nice. I guess u coming aswell, aight?
I am locked up this year, because of financially supporting the older boys. Big investment as well in other household things, so unless I take investments off (which is not wise in my view). It didn't really result in a good plan overall.
So, NO unless I find a way... Wife says OK, but I know it means "interest rate very high" LOL
I want to go to Portugal in 2027 (or 2028) because of F1, so I might play along with those two @hivefest events.
Either way, I still need to find out if I am going to meet @rishi556 in November at the SC conference I usually go to.
If that one happens, that is... I might be able to scheme something into Barcelona, too, without anyone's help.
No promises.
@forkyishere If you come to F1, you can stay in Faro (half my family lives there). It’s just a short hop from Faro to Portimão. And you’ll always save on the most expensive part of a trip to the Algarve: accommodation.
Let me know a week in advance so I can prepare the seafood 🦐 🦀 🐠 😃
Would love to hang out again with you in the Sun of Barcelona ;) Make it happen!
If it's going to be anything like it has with my other friends that come to town, I'm going to be somewhere else when ur here 😂 (If we plan ahead of time though we should be good)
I am obviously biased by the integration of the Magi swaps...
But now I need to try that "Better meme! feature"
Awww, you're a star @asgarth! Thank you very much for the changes, it helps a lot!
@asgarth I posted today, opting for 75-25, but my post appears to be at 50-50. Can you check it I made a mistake or what's happened? I know I picked 75-25.
The 50%/50% you see is not the payout option. It is the split between author and curators.
But I understand how this can be confusing so I will do a quick update to make it easier to see the actual payout option for the post.
Ahh, yes, it can confuse you. Thanks for explaining this 😬
Let me know if it's better now:
Yes, this reflects it perfectly! Thanks again.
Another thing if I may 😬 the last one. Can you change the logo color of 75-25, next to the rewards? The default is black, the 100% is red, so can we have a green logo for example, so we can see which post is using it? Is this a big thing?
Something like this? That is coherent with how we show partial burned rewards?
Yes, this solution is good too. Thanks again! 👍
I am really digging the new post 'code block' setup @asgarth! Is there a way to toggle 'word wrap' within that setup?
Yes, will be in che next update.
@asgarth that word wrap is getting painful to look at on my end. Is there a toggle for it?
Can you share a link to a post/comment with a long string that is wrapped and causing this problem? So I can try to tune it a little bit?
Here ya go: https://peakd.com/technology/@jacobpeacock/an-ai-kernel-system-prompt-for-ghost-bits-and-pi-pointer-storage
Thanks. Much easier to understand the problem looking at the post 🙏
I have probably found a solution for the wrapping. And also what do you think of a small "expand button" like this?
@asgarth you are quite welcome! That layout looks awesome and the 'expand' button looks perfect.
Oh, and the "wrap" text is also there:
Oh oh! Nice work on the wrap button too!
Fantastic and awesome to hear. Hope all is well in your world. Ciao and Hive on!
Here is an example of what I was thinking. This is how 'Sublime' word wraps it. Basically, it is structured somewhere in the middle of how the original structure was (when the first code block feature got added) and the very last update that compacts everything.

I see the update but cannot seem to figure out how to toggle the 'word wrap'. It sure compacts it down!
Hello Peakd. ❤️
I like the Magi swaps directly in the wallet and I think this is an usability improvement that makes end user life easier. Bring more of this!
Excellent updates! I've really been waiting for several weeks for them to fix the image problem, but I see they've been busy with many other things. I really liked how quickly they adapted the new Magi system for exchanges within the PeakD Wallet itself. I also really liked the meme thing, although I don't make memes much myself, I would like them to give more attention and development to this.
What I like most is the new 75/25 rewards option Because, honestly, I missed HBDs. 😅 Likewise, I really like that they've arranged it this way because I prefer to prioritize getting more HP than HIVE or HBD.
Keep it up!

Can you add an option to display post rewards in Hive instead of HBD?
I saw some things today that confused me... still have to double check them.
Using HIVE rewards might help when we are not printing HBD, but then I would say, we need to use HBD when we are doing so.
Although this might be confusing for some users or lists/ordering stuff, because if they order by numbers, then everything is going to be very wrong.
Unless the UI changes ALL the numbers to either one or the other thing.
How would that work? Based on the current value/price of HIVE?
That would be an option, doesn't the blockchain internally use VEST to calculate the rewards instead of HBD? If VEST was used internally a conversion to HIVE would not be that difficult, even less dependent on the current HIVE price than when displaying rewards in HBD.
Yes, but the Hive API return the estimated payout in HBD. For example this is what we have on the frontend for this post:
Do you mean like this? (We do this on scrobble.life)
The new MAGI swaps integration looks pretty useful, especially keeping everything inside PeakD instead of jumping between tools. The improved code blocks and meme support are nice quality-of-life upgrades too 👍
Interesting friend I will be reviewing the information, I did not know about the memes and neither about the exchange platform Magician very interesting and the rewards thing seems very practical

STOPThank you for fixing the image proxy , brilliant news.
Could I ask a question /suggestion.
When I bulk upload photos from my desk top into a blog, they never ever upload in the order I have set them to. Is this fixable or maybe it isn't a peak/hive thing but something else outside causingthis. Sorry if this sounds daft but I am a total technophobe!
This has been a problem for a long time. Will have a look at it and see if I can improve the upload. Thanks for reporting 👍
Thank you, that would be brill. Kudos
