Chapter 6 About Magic Attackers || Monsters That Bypass Armor & Never Miss Attacks

Among all the monsters in Splinterlands my most favorite type of monsters are Magic Attackers because I am highly impressed by their abilities and battle quality. Magic attacks are completely different from other attack types. Unlike melee and ranged monsters, magic attackers work in a unique way...

In melee and ranged attacks there is always a chance of missing the target and they also need to break the enemys armor first before they can directly damage health.

However magic attackers are different. Their attacks never miss and they directly hit the enemys health by bypassing armor completely. That is the main reason why I like magic monsters so much.

Another great thing about magic attackers is that you can place them in almost any position on the battlefield. Whether they are in the first position, middle position or even the last position they can continue dealing magic damage every round.

If your opponent is using a highly defensive team then strong magic monsters can completely destroy their defense very easily. You need to select proper magic monsters in order to win the battle.

You can learn all these mechanics in the Splinterlands Campaign mode where each chapter teaches you different aspects of the game step by step. Previously I already explained different card types such as ranged attackers, melee attackers, armor monstger and the importance of speed stats in monsters.

Today in Chapter 6 I explored Magic Attackers and learned about their strengths and abilities. We also discovered what kind of reward cards players can receive after completing the chapter.

First you need to enter the Splinterlands Campaign mode. Then you open the next chapter after the one you already completed. Since I had already finished Chapter 5 I moved on to Chapter 6 where the game introduced Magic Attack units.

I simply clicked on the chapter and it provided a detailed guide explaining how magic monsters work. Along with that there was also a battle tutorial that allowed me to practically understand how magic attacks are used during battle.

I already had some monsters in my deck so I played the battle and successfully won using magic attackers. It only took a few clicks to complete the chapter and at the end I received rewards.

After completing the chapter I received three monster cards as rewards including melee attackers and ranged attackers. I was hoping to get a magic monster as a reward but unfortunately I did not receive one this time.

Still I got two melee monsters and one ranged attacker with mana costs between four and five.

Anyway rewards are rewards and we should gladly accept them while continuing to improve our deck collection.

So this was todays explanation about Magic Attackers in Chapter 6. In the next chapter I will continue exploring about abilities and share with you what happens in the upcoming chapter. Stay tuned..
