Como les comenté en mi post anterior, estoy en Barinas, en un pueblo donde la señal no es muy buena, por ella estoy atrasada con los post. Sin embargo, no queria dejar de compartirles que tal pasé el fin de año junto a mi familia.
Jeloou guys, I hope you are all well here, Happy New Year again❤!!! As I told you in my previous post, I am in Barinas, in a town where the signal is not very good, that's why I am behind with the posts. However, I didn't want to stop sharing with you how I spent the end of the year with my family.
Tenia mas de 4 años sin ver a mi familia por parte de mamá, mi familia de este lado es bastante numerosa y pues no estuvo gran parte, ya sea por no poder viajar al pueblo o porque se encuentran fuera del país, pero a pesar de, he podido compartir con mis primos, tíos y abuelos que estan acá, asi que lo agradezco y valoro mucho.
I had more than 4 years without seeing my family on my mom's side, my family on this side is quite large and well, most of them were not here, either because they could not travel to town or because they are out of the country, but despite, I have been able to share with my cousins, uncles and grandparents who are here, so I appreciate it and value it very much.
El 31 fue un día movido, no tengo fotos de absolutamente todo, pero de lo mas importante al menos si jajaj. Mi abuela no estaba muy convencida de hacer hallacas pero mi mamá y yo inisistimos porque lo mereciamos jajaja, asi que se hicieron a última hora. Les debo la receta porque no estuve en el paso a paso, pero acá les comparto fotos de cuando se estaban armando y colocando en el fogón. Cabe destacar que mi abuela es la mejor haciendo hallacas, de verdad jajaj, y aparte, este año por fin aprendi a amarralas jajaja, me gustó hacerlo, no es que sea algo difícil, pero si hay que amarrarlas bien para que no se dañen y pues es algo que no a todo el mundo le gusta hacer, curiosamente jajaja.
The 31st was a busy day, I don't have pictures of absolutely everything, but at least of the most important things, hahaha. My grandmother was not very convinced to make hallacas but my mom and I insisted because we deserved it hahaha, so they were made at the last minute. I owe you the recipe because I was not in the step by step, but here I share photos of when they were being assembled and placed on the stove. It should be noted that my grandmother is the best at making hallacas, really hahaha, and besides, this year I finally learned to tie them hahaha, I liked doing it, not that it is something difficult, but if you have to tie them well so they are not damaged and it is something that not everyone likes to do, strangely enough hahaha.
Luego que eso ya estaba listo pasamos a descansar un rato, bañarnos y arreglarnos para la noche. Por el corre corre, ni una foto me tomé sola, pero tengo estas con algunos de mis familiares y amigos. Hicimos la cena en el patio de la casa de mi bisabuela, me gustó mucho que estuvieramos todos reunidos, fue especial. Después esperamos que se hicieran las 12 para darnos todos el Feliz Año, luego de eso, me fui con uno de mis tíos a una tasca donde siempre se hacen fiesta en estas fechas y pues ahi estuve con el y unos amigos compartiendo hasta las 6am JAJAJA, bailé un rato y de resto conversar con mis amigos, la música no fue la mejor pero a pesar de todo se pasó un buen rato...
After that was done we went to rest for a while, take a bath and get ready for the night. Because of the running around, I didn't take a single picture, but I have these with some of my family members and friends. We had dinner in the patio of my great-grandmother's house, I really liked that we were all together, it was special. After that, I went with one of my uncles to a bar where they always have parties on these dates and there I was with him and some friends sharing until 6am HAHAHAHAHA, I danced for a while and talked with my friends, the music was not the best but in spite of everything it was a good time....
