Today, I made a magic fan using colored paper. I have made paper fans before, but it is simple. This one has a unique shape and need two pieces of string. It is decorated with a butterfly. I show you how to make it step by step with pictures. Also write with texts.
In the first step, I drew colorful circles on a yellow A4 paper. I cut the paper in half and folded each one as wavy shape. I glued the two pieces of paper together. I gathered one edge of the paper and glued it with other piece of paper.
In this step, I made a handle with a piece of yellow paper. I placed the yellow paper at the bottom of it. Rolled and glued it at the end. I attached two strings on each side by gluing them.
Cut a piece of yellow paper with 10cm, 15cm. I glued the paper on the top of the fan as shown.
Folded the two pieces of string downwards and glued them. I covered it with other piece of yellow paper. The paper was cut with 12cm, 15cm.
In this step, I made a paper butterfly. I cut pink and black butterfly shapes and glued them together. I cut other black paper piece and glued in the middle of it. I decorated it on the handle.
You can open it by pushing the handle up. You can close it by pulling the handle down. I really like the fan after making it. I think it is cute too. Thank you so much for your reading my post to the end.

Reminds me of many years ago, in the primary school; this fan was one of the "handwork" I produced and I got "excellent" mark.
