I have never seen this dog before. I did a similar job once for my friend. His neighbors wanted to do this. Their dog went for a walk in the heavenly meadows. And this is a gift in memory of that dog.
I managed to find one of the old sections of the growth on the birch. He had an irregular oval shape. Such growths are called "suvel".
At my disposal were several photos from a smartphone of low resolution and rather poor quality. Processing in Photoshop one of them gave a more or less satisfactory result.
I carried out the entire bas-relief with the help of different burs and cutters. Then he applied several colors of stains, linseed oil and wax.
It was with this bas-relief that I met with the customer at the metro station yesterday.

Beautiful! Those growths are called "burls" in English. I have some beautiful wooden bowls carved out of birch burls. I love the grain. You did a great job here, I bet the customer was very happy to have this beautiful work of art honoring their departed dog.
There are two types of growths. One of them is really called a burls. He has not sprouted kidneys inside. On the cut, they look like specks. This is the most beautiful and expensive texture for crafts. And there are growths of twisted fibers without any points inside. We call it suvel. They are also beautiful in cuts, but not like burls.

I don't think any of the scotbot tokens are on hive yet (I think beer was a scotbot token, I guess not sure). On peakd.com you just have to navigate to the all posts tab then click the three dots next to a post and select "share to blog" to add a post to your main blog. On hive.blog you have to

I tried logging in to peakd.com, but it didn’t work out. Passwords didn’t work ... I need to deal with this. On the Hive page, these three dots do not work. I think it’ll get better after a while.
on the hive page, you can share a post to your main blog by using the resteem. It isn't resteem anymore though obviously :) LOL reblog I guess. rehive? but in any case, on hive.blog if you go to your profile then click on the "posts" tab, you can just hit the curving arrow icon to share any of the posts you have made in a community onto your main blog page.
Huh though that is strange RE passwords not working on peakd.com. Which way of logging in did you try? I used the "peaklock" log in and it worked fine for me.
