Today I'm gonna share with you my BlueTurkey drawing I made last year at Thanksgiving time, and the steps of its creation in pictures ;-)
Aujourd'hui, je vais partager avec vous mon dessin BlueTurkey que j'avais réalisé l'année dernière au moment de Thanksgiving, ainsi que les étapes de sa création en images ;-)
I didn't feel it to draw my turkey in black...too mourning-like, and this turkey was a joyful one
Do you know why he was humming like a sparrow ?
---> This happy turkey was the prize of a beautiful challenge last year,
and in this challenge, he was assured to go in a house that is animal-friendly and that celebrates Thanksgiving without eating any of his aviary brothers and sisters !
The challenge was run by my delightful friend @lenasveganliving
who ran a thankgsgiving vegan recipes challenge, just for BlueTurkey to travel through the world and be the cheerful reward of a nice friendly Steemian =))
So...the winner of the challenge was @plantstoplanks and she was rewarded with this original colored illustration of BlueTurkey, drawn on a thick white paper 21 cm* 15 cm that I l signed and dedicated to her attention
Je ne le sentais pas de dessiner cette dinde en noir ... trop couleur deuil, or cette dinde était vivante et joyeuse
Sais-tu pourquoi elle sifflotait comme un moineau?
---> Cette joyeuse dinde était la récompense d'un beau challenge l'an dernier,
et à l'issue de ce défi, elle était assurée d'aller dans une maison qui respecte les animaux et célèbre Thanksgiving sans manger aucun de ses frères et soeurs à plumes!
Le challenge était organisé par ma magnifique amie @lenasveganliving
qui a organisé un concours de recettes vegan pour Thanksgiving, afin que BlueTurkey voyage à travers le monde et soit la joyeuse récompense pour un sympathique Steemian =))
Donc ... la gagnante du challenge était @plantstoplanks et elle a été récompensée avec cette illustration originale en couleur de BlueTurkey, dessinée sur un papier épais blanc de 21 cm * 15 cm que j'ai signé et dédicacé à son attention

Lovely blue turkey!
We have so many wild turkeys that live around our place in the USA. Here, in England, we actually are going to celebrate American Thanksgiving, as two of us are American's in my party (Though if it were up to me, I'd not bother) I was able to convince my friend that instead of turkey, we should do pheasant, so we are.
