Aren't the mountains the most exquisite places to walk and admire in fall ..?

We had a magnificent saturday at just a few minutes from home,
breathing the fresh air and enjoying the flamboyant colors of the leaves ^_^
Nous avons eu un magnifique samedi à quelques minutes de chez nous,
respirant l'air frais et profitant des couleurs flamboyantes des feuilles ^ _ ^
And besides, I said to myself while admiring the landscape :
ohlala, I will post beautiful photos of our marvelous mountains on next monday! ;-)
Et en plus, je me disais en admirant le paysage :
ohlala, je vais pouvoir poster de belles photos de nos merveilleuses montagnes lundi ! ;-)

I can’t believe how gorgeous these pictures are Barbara, the natural landscape there where you live, is so beautiful it takes my breath away, you are so blessed to see it. In Iowa, there are absolutely no mountains, isn’t that crazy, there are only bluffs, small rolling hills. I truly miss seeing the mountains , I grew up near them always. I love sitting on top of a mountain and looking at the awsome beauty below, my family took several tips to see the Grand Canyon when I was s kid, there are know words to describe the feeling of looking at it. All that I can say is that the feeling of joy and peace where overwhelming. I drew a picture of me awhile back, dreaming about sitting on a mountain and seeing a sunrise like this one❣️Bless you for sharing friend, your such a great photographer.

How nice of you Dan ;-) I don't know if it is the most beautiful, because I have not traveled a lot so far, which I would enjoy to do more but it costs too much and, to be able to live where I live, in this expensive place that is Annecy, I have to do some sacrifices and that means no spendings I can avoid ...so we don't move very far, but on the other hand, the beauty is just here, so I don't feel I could complain at all... ;-)
Sure, it's impossible to visit such a big country. I probably will not see it. I am very convinced that it is beautiful next to you where you live!

From a mountain girl to another, there is nothing more beautiful than the alpine landscape. I'm not even talking about the fresh air or the beautiful colors. Or the amazing gifts like berries and herbs.
