Today I share with you some pictures of a painting done last year ...
..fancy bees playing in the branches of my fig tree ^_^
Some may have already seen it but with the tide of posts that we have every day, I thought it would be nice to show again some of my paintings for which I had developed a tutorial
(besides the today's audience is not necessarily that of last year ago or two years back ..😉)
Aujourd'hui je partage avec vous quelques photos d'un tableau réalisé l'année dernière...
..des abeilles fantaisies qui s'amusent dans les branches de mon figuier ^_^
Certains l'ont peut-être déjà vu mais devant la marée de posts que nous avons chaque jour, j'ai pensé qu'il serait bien de remontrer certains de mes tableaux pour lesquels j'avais élaborer un tuto
(sans compter que l'audience d'aujourd'hui n'est plus forcément celle de l'année dernière ou deux anx en arrière ..😉 )
The painting was made as usual with my favourite tools :
the Neocolor II hydrosoluble pastels,
which colors I love, as well as the sweetness of use & thei rendering
La peinture a été réalisée comme d'habitude avec mes outils préférés :
les pastels hydrosolubles Neocolor II,
dont j'adore les couleurs ainsi que la douceur d'utilisation et de rendu
Now I will show you pictures of the Work In Progress, hoping you will enjoy the birth process ^_^
A présent je vais vous en montrer les étapes de création en images,esperant que vous apprecierez d'en voir la naissance ;-)
It all began with a sketch of course ;-)
Bien sûr tout a commencé par un dessin au crayon ;-)
Then I use the Neocolor II pastels,
yellow and pink for the stripes, and Salmon Pink for the face, that I dilute with a wet brush to spread the pigments ^_^
Puis j'utilise les pastels Neocolor II,
jaune et rose pour les rayures, et rose saumon pour le visage, que je dilue avec un pinceau humide pour répandre les pigments ^ _ ^
The background is colored in green turquoise Neocolor II, the wings in green anise
and strangely the yellow stripes appear more greenish than yellow on the picture, because of the light of my ceiling lamp at the late hour when I took the shot ;-)
I color the bees with a black Luminance pencil which is a permanent color also from Caran d' Ache, let's say it is like the Polychromos of Faber Castell,
both are very deep and bright color pencils, I indifferently use both...
Le fond est coloré en Neocolor II vert turquoise , les ailes en vert anisé
et étrangement les rayures jaunes apparaissent plus verdâtres que jaunes sur la photo, à cause de ma lumière à l'heure tardive à laquelle j'ai pris le cliché ;-)
Je colorie les abeilles avec un crayon noir Luminance qui est une couleur permanente de Caran d 'Ache, disons que c'est l'équivalent des Polychromos de Faber Castell,
les deux sont des crayons de couleur permanents très profonds et lumineux, j'utilise indifféremment l'un ou l'autre. ..

Now it's time to outline neatly and draw some details with a black Unipin fine liner
and the Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pen will serve me to make all the shades and shapes
Maintenant, il est temps de dessiner soigneusement les contours et paufiner quelques détails avec un liner fin Unipin noir
et le stylo Faber Castell Pitt Artist me servira à faire tous les ombrages et modeler ainsi les formes

In fact I remember to sign only when the painting is going to another home...LoL

En fait je me souviens de signer en général quand le tableau s'envole vers une autre destination ...^_^
