I saw a video in which it was engraved using a plastic bag as a base. I found it very interesting and I tested it. The results were better than I expected. The technique is monotype and the only thing different is to change the zinc plate or glass or whatever is used for the bag. I used black oil to cover the base, and it begins to remove paint that will later become the lights and brighter parts. Keep in mind that the image once recorded will be inverted.
I made a kind of rather grotesque self-portrait because it is more interesting than just a self-portrait.

As it happens to me whenever I start to paint, I forget to record the process. This time I had the idea of taking photos and some I took, but I really have a hard time remembering and taking better photos.
