A shadow pierced by light.
If there is light then somewhere, very close there may be a shadow and vice versa if you find yourself in the shadow, then at any moment the light can cut through the darkness of the shadow.
Light pleases us, but a shadow if it is not a cool shadow on a hot day somewhere on the beach from an umbrella over a sun lounger can frighten us especially if someone or something that is unkind to us is hiding in the shadow.
So, one day exploring an old abandoned park I found myself on a shady alley on which a ray of morning sun fell and beckoned me with its beauty.
When I stepped onto the alley and began to approach the beam of light an angry dog jumped out of the bushes which began to growl and bark at me.
Apparently people had not walked here for a very long time and everything around was overgrown with bushes and the dog felt like the master of this territory.
I did not sort things out with the dog and went along the neighboring alley and this was the right decision because later I found out that there lived a huge pack of wild dogs of several dozen heads that terrorized all passers-by and as a rule these were people who went for morning jogs and accidentally turned in the wrong direction.
You know later, on another day I returned there in an attempt to photograph the play of light and shadow again, but the picture was not repeated the shadows were less contrasting and the light was not so bright.
