While most of the new Restaurants and Cafes here on Bali, especially in Canggu getting more and more pricey, the good old Warungs are still cheap.
Although the prices have been adjusted for the western tourists it´s still pretty reasonable priced. Today we went to Warung Heboh for lunch.
Während die meisten neuen Restaurants und Cafés hier auf Bali, vor allem in Canggu, immer teurer werden, sind die guten alten Warungs immer noch günstig.
Obwohl die Preise für westliche Touristen angepasst wurden, ist der Preis immer noch recht günstig. Heute gingen wir zum Warung Heboh zum Mittagessen.
If you haven´t been to an Indonesian Warung you should definitely give it a try when you´re on one of the Islands.
You won´t find a Menu in a classic Warung. It´s more like a buffet where you can put together your meal on your own. You simple put everything you would like on your plate and pay at the cashier. The variety of dishes to choose from is quite big.
Wenn du noch nie in einem indonesischen Warung gewesen bist, solltest du dies unbedingt mal versuchen wenn du auf einer der vielen Inseln bist.
In einem klassischen Warung findet man kein Menü. Es ist eher ein Buffet, wo man seine Ihre Mahlzeit selbst zusammenstellen kann. Man legt einfach alles, was man möchte auf den Teller und bezahlt an der Kasse. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist sehr groß.
There is something for everyone. Fish, meat, noodles and so on. Some classics are Mie Goreng, Beef Rendang, Tempe or Gado Gado
We both had a very small lunch today with only a bit of white rice, some vegetables and fried potato balls with Sambal.
To drink we had a fresh Watermelon Juice.
Es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Fisch, Fleisch, Nudeln und so weiter. Einige Klassiker sind Mie Goreng, Beef Rendang, Tempe oder Gado Gado
Wir hatten heute ein sehr kleines Mittagessen mit nur etwas weißem Reis, etwas Gemüse und gebratenen Kartoffelbällchen mit Sambal.
Zu trinken hatten wir einen frischen Wassermelonensaft.
Altogether we paid 47.000 Rupiah which is around 3,00 Euro or 3,35 US Dollar. In places like Bali where you can also spend hundreds of dollars for your dinner I find this very cheap and it´s so good for your purse.
Insgesamt haben wir 47.000 Rupiah bezahlt, was etwa 3,00 Euro oder 3,35 US-Dollar entspricht. An Orten wie Bali, wo man auch Hunderte von Dollar für sein Abendessen ausgeben kann, finde ich das sehr günstig und es tut dem Geldbeutel sehr gut.

So günstig kann man ja gar nicht kochen ;) Besonders faszinierend finde ich die frisch gepressten Säfte :-) Nichts abgepacktes, also frischer geht es ja gar nicht.
ja da hast du recht, wird echt schwer für so einen Preis selbst zu kochen. Ja die Säfte hier sind echt der Hammer.
