Las películas que funcionan el suspenso con adrenalina en algunos casos no lo ejecutan a la perfección o por lo menos al nivel que el espectador espera para disfrutar de una buena película.

Movies that work suspense with adrenaline in some cases do not execute it perfectly or at least at the level that the viewer expects to enjoy a good movie.

The Silence no es la mejor película de su tipo y tiene un gran parecido con la película del 2018 A Quiet Place (titulada Un lugar en silencio) en Hispanoamérica, que manejan el mismo concepto y quizás estén en el mismo universo.
La película trata de una familia que debe escapar de unas criaturas que han salido de una cueva que tenía años cerrados, pero que por error un grupo de científicos descubrió y abrió, generando que esas criaturas escaparan a la ciudad.

The Silence is not the best film of its kind and bears a strong resemblance to the 2018 film A Quiet Place (titled Un lugar en silencio) in Latin America, which handles the same concept and may be in the same universe.
The film is about a family that must escape from some creatures that have come out of a cave that had been closed for years, but that by mistake a group of scientists discovered and opened, causing these creatures to escape to the city.
La familia intenta huir a un lugar donde no haya ruido y de esa forma no tener la preocupación de llamar a las criaturas misteriosas que solo pueden escuchar y no ver, pero que son letales y no dejan nada vivo.
La trama es sencilla no tiene mucho que dar en concepto de contenido nuevo en el género de terror y suspenso.
Lo que si puede destacar de la película es que supieron aprovechar la idea que dentro de la familia existía una niña con problemas auditivos y se comunicaban con el lenguaje de señas. Esto le dio un toque diferente a la película.
The family tries to flee to a place where there is no noise and thus not have the worry of calling the mysterious creatures that can only hear and not see, but are lethal and do not leave anything alive.
The plot is simple and does not have much to give in terms of new content in the horror and suspense genre.
What can be highlighted from the film is that they knew how to take advantage of the idea that within the family there was a girl with hearing problems and they communicated with sign language. This gave the movie a different touch.
Dándole al espectador momentos de tensión y preocupación por no saber si eso hará el escape más difícil de lo que ya lo es. Cuando vemos películas que ya no solo buscar llevar terror y se manejan de manera sutil podemos entender que el terror no significa ver sangre o cabezas rodando.
El terror puede ser psicológico o de suspenso, The Silence lo sabe manejar muy bien, claro no es la mejor de su tiempo, pero el suspenso está presente en cada escena presente.
Giving the viewer moments of tension and worry about not knowing if that will make the escape more difficult than it already is. When we see films that no longer only seek to bring terror and are handled in a subtle way we can understand that terror does not mean seeing blood or heads rolling.
Terror can be psychological or suspenseful, The Silence knows how to handle it very well, of course it is not the best of its time, but suspense is present in every scene present.
Desde mi punto de vista como seguidor y amante del cine de suspenso puedo decir que la película dio en el punto clave para poder entretener al espectador y dejarlo pegado a la silla o sofá con mucha tensión.
Quisiera decir que la película pudiera tener una segunda parte, pero la verdad creo que sería innecesario, ya que el contexto de la trama no va más allá de solo escapar de criaturas que se guían por el silencio y querer sacar más jugo a este tipo de películas solo lo harían más repetitiva.
From my point of view as a follower and lover of suspense cinema, I can say that the film hit the key point to be able to entertain the viewer and leave him glued to the chair or sofa with a lot of tension.
I would like to say that the film could have a second part, but the truth is that it would be unnecessary, since the context of the plot does not go beyond just escaping from creatures that are guided by silence and wanting to get more juice from this type of movies would only make it more repetitive.
LO BUENO.
La película sabe manejar los tiempos de suspenso y no abuso de ello lo que hace que la película se desarrolle Orgánicamente y en los momentos de suspenso uno pueda pegar un brinco o sorprenderse de repente. Cuando una película logra esto de manera automática engancha al espectador.
Se diferencia de la mayoría de las películas, ya que no sigue el mismo concepto o argumentos donde los protagonistas no saben que hacer y pierden el control y sus vidas de maneras ilógicas teniendo la posibilidad de resolver problemas a medida que se presentan.
THE GOOD.
The film knows how to handle suspense times and not abuse them, which makes the film develop organically and in suspense moments one can jump or be surprised suddenly. When a movie does this it automatically hooks the viewer.
It differs from most movies, as it does not follow the same concept or arguments where the protagonists do not know what to do and lose control and their lives in illogical ways, having the possibility of solving problems as they arise.
La inclusión es popular en estas épocas y la película trabajo muy bien esto en incluir a la trama un problema o condición genética que está muy presente en el mundo real como es La pérdida de audición, o los impedimentos auditivos. Lo cual desarrollan perfectamente dentro de la película y es una herramienta que usan para darle un toque diferente.
LO MALO.
Considerando la trama y como la desarrollaron la verdad no tiene mucho que se pueda criticar o marcar cono punto negativo.
Inclusion is popular in these times and the film worked very well to include in the plot a problem or genetic condition that is very present in the real world such as hearing loss, or hearing impairments. Which they develop perfectly within the film and is a tool they use to give it a different touch.
THE BAD.
Considering the plot and how they developed it, the truth does not have much that can be criticized or marked as a negative point.
Quizás pudieron haber cambiado el ritmo y hacerlo más rápido tomando en consideración que no podían hacer ruido y si las situaciones hubieran estado más aceleradas la película fuera más emocionante.
MI PUNTUACIÓN:
No soy un experto, pero si sé cuando una película es mala o buena y en este caso disfrute de la película y aunque ya tenía idea de cómo se podría desarrollar, me gustó y por eso le daré 7/10. Buena trama, pero no algo que pueda marcar una gran diferencia con otras películas.
Perhaps they could have changed the rhythm and made it faster taking into account that they could not make noise and if the situations had been more accelerated the film would be more exciting.
MY SCORE:
I am not an expert, but I do know when a film is bad or good and in this case I enjoyed the film and although I already had an idea of how it could be developed, I liked it and that is why I will give it 7/10. Good plot, but not something that can make a big difference from other movies.
PENSAMIENTO FINAL.
Vivir en un mundo en silencio debe ser una locura, solo pensar en ello me pone inquieto y con la sensación que sería difícil para millones de personas vivir bajo esas condiciones, cuando estamos tan adaptados al ruido.
Pero dándole la vuelta podemos ver como en un mundo real esto podría ayudar más a la humanidad sin la necesidad de tener criaturas que nos quieran comer. Pero imagínate en un mundo donde el ruido sea disminuido al 50% quizás escuchemos un poco más el llamado de la naturaleza o escuchemos con más claridad lo que el mundo necesita.
FINAL THOUGHT.
Living in a world in silence must be crazy, just thinking about it makes me restless and with the feeling that it would be difficult for millions of people to live under those conditions, when we are so adapted to noise.
But turning it around we can see how in a real world this could help humanity more without the need to have creatures that want to eat us. But imagine in a world where noise is reduced to 50%, perhaps we will hear a little more the call of nature or we will hear more clearly what the world needs.
El silencio en algunos casos puede ayudar y ser terapéutico, la paz siempre se encuentra en lugares sencillos y sin ruido, claro sin criaturas mortales.
Silence in some cases can help and be therapeutic, peace is always found in simple places without noise, of course without mortal creatures.

Ah recuerdo esta película. Yo hice una breve reseña opinión, no lleno todas mis expectativas, no recuerdo que fue lo que escribí. La vi solo por los actores. Tucci que es un master y la joven Kiernan Shipka, que la mayoría conoce es por el remake de Sabrina la bruja adolescente, pero yo siempre la veré como la hija de Don Draper en la excelente serie Mad Men, Pero igual se deja ver y pasar el rato.
