Hello beautiful people

A warm and pleasant greetings to you all on this beautiful day, I hope you are doing great and having he best of your time out there, it is another creative day for me to share with you this beautiful gown outfit with pleated upper bodice made for my friend's little princess, with the beautiful outcome, I'm sure you will like it.

I have been on this fabric for sometimes now because from it, I will be making different outfits for my friend and her family and of course I have made several of them but today, I will be sharing the cutting and sewing process of this particular outfit for my friend's little princess, at first,I was contemplating on what to make and as little children, I know they will definitely want something very nice like a princess then, I determined to make the lower part a flare of 180° because of the fabric I had with me, it is to be used for two girls so I have to minimize the fabric for it to be enough and for the upper bodice, i thought of trying something stylish and different from the usual, this is what I came up with, join me as I take you through the cutting and sewing process
cutting and sewing process of this beautiful gown
For the lower part of the gown, I measured and cut out 180° flare with the waist circumference measurements and full length measurements minus the upper bodice with seam and zipper allowance at the back.

The flare was it out with lining of same size bt shorter by 4" and both were set aside.
For the pleated upper bodice, I measured and cut out an off shoulder upper bodice with the upper bodice measurements on a black satin for the front and back with zipper allowance at the back

I cut out a long strip of 4x8" for the strap and was sewn to the satin fabric

At the front, I cut out a long piece from the main fabric and pleated it on the satin fabric

The back was a basic back bodice and it was turned with lining for neat finishing as well as the front after I had cut out the excess on both sides, I sew in the seam allowance on both sides and this is the pleated upper bodice

The upper bodice was sewn to lower bodice of the 180° flare with the lining for neat finishing and fullness

At the back, I sew a black zipper at the zipper allowance and the hem of the gown was folded in and sewn round finally, I cut out a puff sleeve and sew it to the armhole circumference.
This is the final and beautiful outcome of the gown outfit with pleated upper bodice I made for my friend's little princess. I hope you like the beautiful outcome.
