Mass Indoctrination for Monday 24th July 2023

in MCGI Cares Hive10 months ago

It was another wonderful time to spend in God presence as always and also learnt at God feet his word and doctrine. Today I will be sharing with us what I learnt through today mass Indoctrination.

Lessons Learnt in Today Mass Indoctrination

(1). Confession of Sin

The Bible made us to understand that when we sin, we should confess our sin to God and we should pray to one another. A lot of people find it difficult to confess their sin they have committed because of what people will say.

1John.5.16 - If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that he should pray about that.
1John.5.17 - All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.

When we know that our friend or brother sin, we should pray for them instead of spreading rumours about them and what they do. This is the commandments of God. So instead of hating someone who sin against you, you will forgive the person. Instead of telling people what they did or the sin they did, we should pray for them.

(2). Love Our Brother or Friend who Sin

A lot of times people always think those who sin need to be hate. No that is not what the Bible taught. In today mass indoctrination, I learnt that we pray for those who sin instead of condemning them. That is what the Bible taught us.

1Pet.4.8 - Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

Love cover all wrongs as Peter said and so we should make sure that we love those who sin irrespective of what they do to us or to others. We should not hate them because of what they did. That is not what the Bible taught us. We should love them irrespective of that Because love covers all

(3). Confession should be made to God and not to Priest

A lot of doctrine have taught that people should confess their sin to their priest. No that is not what the Bible taught us. We should confess our sin to God only

Ps.32.5 - Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD "- and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah

The priest can't forgive your sin. Only God can forgive your sin and so we should confess our transgressions to the Lord no matter how it might be. One thing I also learnt is we can be forgiven of our sin no matter what we have done.

Prov.28.13 - He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

We should not cover our sin but we should confes our sin so that we can find mercy from God. God is ready to show mercy and forgive those who confess their sin to God, they will be forgiven to God. We should pray for them that sin just like I stated earlier.

(4). God answered the prayer of a Righteous man

Whenever the righteous pray, the Lord always answer their prayer and grant their request no matter how it might be. And that is what God made us to understand in James

Jas.5.16 - Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
Jas.5.17 - Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.
Jas.5.18 - Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
Jas.5.19 - My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back,
Jas.5.20 - remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

If the prayer of a Righteous man avail much, then we should understand that we should pray for our brother since we are righteous. I learnt in today mass indoctrination is that even we start praying, God has already started answering us

Isa.65.24 - Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.

These are the lessons I was able to learnt in today mass indoctrination session and I strongly believe it has blessed you. I will be expecting your comment below
