Ancient Sumerian Star Map Shows Asteroid Hitting Earth

in #history7 years ago (edited)

The oldest star map ever discovered is verifying an asteroid impact and possibly the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah that predates most of the scriptures in the bible.

The Sumerian relic of antiquity is at least 5,500 years old, the star map of ancient Nineveh reveals the observation of the Köfels impact event which many experts believe could be linked to the same event of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.

The Sumerian artifact is referred to as the 'planisphere' or 'astrolabe', the earliest known astronomical instrument, it consists of a segmented disc shaped star chart with marked units of angle measurement inscribed upon the rim.

For approximately a hundred and fifty years various scholars, professors, scientists and experts in different fields have attempted to solve the Enigma of a mysterious cuneiform clay tablet indicating the Köfels' impact, a huge impact that supposedly took place after a meteor blew up in the sky.

There is evidence for gold mines in Africa over 250,000 years old, that would put it in the timeline of many of the characters that are referred to in the Sumerian texts and could actually be a representation of the cosmic events that unfold at the same time.

The planisphere was recovered from the 650 BC underground library of King Ashurbanipal in Nineveh Iraq in the late 19th century, long thought to be an Assyrian relic, computer analysis has matched it with the sky above Mesopotamia in 3300 BC and proves it to be of ancient Sumerian origin.

The recorded observation suggested that the asteroid was an Auton a type which orbits close to the earth and was over a kilometer in diameter, pretty big. The descent angle was calculated to have been six degrees, striking a mountain the fireball caused the damage to the Köfels' Valley creating the pressure damage observed by geologists.

There is yet so much that we don't know

Agreed, also there is a stack of evidence that is overlooked by the scientific establishment.

Very interesting. It's just such a pity that relics from that area are being destroyed.

Some people just want to erase history instead of learning from it

History ALWAYS repeats itself.
