The Lady of Elche is a limestone statue discovered in 1897 in L'Alcúdia, Spain.
The conventional thought is that this is an elaborate headdress.
However the design is quite technical and at the centre are what resemble speakers
And what would Lady Elche listen to, rock music?
Whatever it was it would be cutting edge for the time..

The detail here seems very similar what we are accustomed to regarding as a microphone gauze and acoustic condensers
Together with other depictions of technology, seen in ancient art and writings, the case is building for a long lost civilisation that possessed knowledge that we do not have today.

One thing we know is everyone likes to do some karaoke once in a while!
I realise I am speculating wildly for entertainment purposes however I do believe there were some concepts of these things way before we imagine.
Maybe these statues are center figures to the evolution of large headphones. Just my speculation too . . .
