Hi Steemers, I live in London and have been interested in bitcoin and cryptocurrency for a couple of years.
I always keep an eye on all the crypto news and try out various websites and platforms.
Steemit is one of the most promising so far in terms of engagement and accessibility.
Up until now my favourite coin has been Dogecoin because it has such a great community and ecosystem, it also does great charity work.
The benefits of cryptocurrency and smartphones etc for the unbanked in the third world is huge.
Steemit could be a great resource for bloggers in Africa, South America and Asia!
I am especially interested in all the music platforms in development like Synereo, Muse, Ujo and Bittunes.
Cryptocurrency will make it easier for artists to get rewarded for content.
In general crypto will put value in things that we have been unable to previously, like blogging!
Facebook makes millions off everyone using the platform everyday, why shouldn't that be shared with all the users?
That's the great thing about decentralised platforms, we all have a stake.
There are so many potential areas for cryptocurrency it is hard not to be consumed by the subject.
I am constantly amazed at all the talent and work going on in the crypto space.
I have always been concerned with freedom and liberty, bitcoin and the crypto world has helped me become more aware of free market economics and ideas.
It makes me feel optimistic for the future knowing that innovation is unstoppable.
My advice to anyone who is new to all of this is to stick around and learn about it , it might be worth your while.
