RE: Recovery Account & proper backup of Keys
The recovery mechanism isn't intended to recover "lost" keys. If you still have your owner key and lose the other ones, you can use your owner key to set new values of the other…

RE: Can Hive Foster A Global Standby Team That Costs Nothing to Keep? 這個社區可否長出一支免維持費的全球小任務待命團隊呢？
I like this idea and it fits in well with a strongly related idea I have for my peerverity project (which I hope to bring to Hive community soon), which includes the idea of…

RE: Who the DHF has actually paid, 2019-2026
Just for the record, I was quite surprised to see such a large amount to blocktrades, as my recollection clearly recalled that we made exactly one proposal and it was for…

Both sites worked fine for me, but your links here are broken: internally they look like for example, so they don't work from your post.

RE: HivePulse.app - New Goals functionality for focused and consistent activity on the Hive blockchain
It does, but it doesn't talk to all peers just some peers. And plenty of peers are behind firewalls so not directly addressable: they can call you, you can't call them. So since…

RE: HivePulse.app - New Goals functionality for focused and consistent activity on the Hive blockchain
The amount of nodes isn't the same as the amount of witnesses. Witnesses are nodes that produce blocks. I run only one witness node, but I probably run upwards of 10 nodes. It's…

RE: I opened a protocol PR: scale DHF payouts when HBD printing is suppressed
Side point: I don't think there's any need for people to buy Hive to defund proposals. I just pointed that is the primary mechanism we have now: stakeholders vote, and the more…

The most useful thing I can think of is to add support for "lite accounts" along with associated functionality for "social account" login (e.g. google and facebook style login).…

RE: I opened a protocol PR: scale DHF payouts when HBD printing is suppressed
I don't think there's a crossed wire about the proposal mechanism itself. It was obvious in the original proposal that it was a mechanism to cut DHF spending. It's the…

RE: I opened a protocol PR: scale DHF payouts when HBD printing is suppressed
As I explained elsewhere, if we adopted the same signal of hbd_print_rate as you suggest, it would be to change payments from HBD to Hive of equivalent value. That's what the…
