This project got started because Steem Engine is missing a charting functionality.
Since the social part of Steem is happening on Discord, most Steemians have also come across a chatty bot called BANJO by @inertia.
This series has already covered two tipping bots: BEER and TRDO. Those bots can be called via comments in Steem and deliver tokens to an SE wallet.
Banjo allows to tip from Discord. The way it works is, when somebody posts a Steemit link in a Discord server where Banjo is present, you can tip the author by adding emojis to the link.
The specific math of how often a tip can be triggered remains a mystery.

Price data is represented by daily lows in order to be conservative. Some tokens display a huge spread or sometimes don't trade at all. The daily low represents a bid where a transaction could happen.
