Sorbet is a bit different. Made like ice cream, with simple syrup, sugar and flavors. In this case, lemon juice & lemon zest. the basil is infused into the simple syrup.

Oh, we make those and call them Ice Cream/Shaved Ice here. (It's the same local word for both.)
