While searching for an ambulance, I discovered a locked trauma center humming with infected growls and fought off a sudden Stalker ambush. Following power cables through a wall breach, I located the main generator room and used a nearby workbench to upgrade weapons before restoring electricity to the facility.

I kept looking around, when Abby was hoping there is an ambulance in the garage to salvage a clean kit. And I found this ambulance gate, but it was not opening, as it was hard stuck in the rusted tracking.

Then I noticed this over-grown infection around a corner, and it looked like there was a body inside it. The spores completely fused the corpse to the cracked concrete wall.

I had to break a glass partition to get to the other side of the door to clear the blockage. There I found a letter beside a tied dead body, and I guess this man was bitten, so he was kind of in quarantine zone there.

And well, I reached this gate of trauma center, but I couldn't open it by hand, and the whole facility didn't have electricity to jump the locks. But I heard growling sound from the other side, which told me something bad was waiting.

After reaching this side of the corridor, I used my hearing ability to understand there were some Clickers locked inside some cabin doors. And I didn't even try to open up those doors, keeping my steps completely silent.

Suddenly this Stalker came rushing toward me from a blind corner while I was getting prepared for it with my shotgun ready. And I had to open fire, which alerted the Clickers around about my presence.

I didn't take any chance there, as the Stalkers often come out of those overgrowth infections along the plaster. So I started shooting there into the spores, but there was no active monster hidden inside.

Then at last, I started looking for the generator following the electrical cables running along the floor. And it looked like there was a hole for me to squeeze through into a secondary utility room.

I was getting to the other side through the hole to inspect the breaker units. I found both the generator and the power machines, then I could interact with them to finally flip the grid back online.

But before doing that and drawing a massive amount of acoustic noise, I found this workbench that I decided to use. I wanted to upgrade some of my weapons because I didn't know what evildoers were waiting next.
We'll check what happens next in another post.

Shooting random walls covered in mushrooms just to make sure they do not try to bite you is the most relatable survival horror behavior ever.
In such horror games, paranoia is not a flaw, it is a survival skill.

You're basically fixing the entire hospital's electrical grid single-handedly, and instead of getting a technician fee, your reward is just a room full of angry monsters. I'm hoping your path ahead became smooth.
Yeah, that reward package felt extremely unfair 😂
The sudden Stalker ambush was stressful. Those enemies are already unpredictable, so having one rush Abby while the Clickers were trapped nearby instantly raised the panic level.
Yeah, that moment changed the whole mood immediately.
Following the power cables through the broken wall was such a classic survival progression moment. It felt like every step deeper into the utility rooms was pulling Abby closer toward something dangerous waiting in the dark.
The cables felt like breadcrumbs leading straight into a nightmare.
