While exploring the hotel, I used a Wi-Fi password to open a safe before discovering a body jamming a door. Upon encountering spores on the lower floors, I was forced to leave Lev behind as she didn't have any ask. After searching through several destroyed rooms and broken equipment, I finally secured an intact mask.
The info of the safe attracted me as I searched the hotel lobby, so I started looking for it and I found it tucked away in a small cleaning closet. But the code was yet to be found, though I knew the clue behind the code.
I started looking around the front desk and I found the code, which was the Wi-Fi password, as mentioned in the letter left by a former employee. I used it to open the safe and found not what I was looking for in there. It was a slight disappointment given the effort.
We moved ahead into the stairwell and after going through a jammed door, we found a dead body that was jamming the door from the other side. The poor soul had been there for years, clutching their gear. I reached down and retrieved a flashlight from the body for Lev to use in the dark.
And on the 20th floor, we found another dead body, which had a brutal death that suggested something large and fast had caught them. On the floor below, Abby understood there were spores ahead.
Abby asked Lev to wear her mask, but Lev didn't have one. So Abby had to leave the kid behind in a sealed hallway where the air was still clean. She promised him she would be back quickly.
After getting to the other side of the door and asking Lev to wait, I started checking around the infested rooms. What I found were more dead bodies and destroyed floors that had partially collapsed into the levels below. The fungal growth was everywhere, creeping up the walls.
At a point, I became more careful, as I was a little scared actually by the strange clicking sounds echoing through the vents. Then I found a dead body from whom Abby tried to retrieve the mask for Lev, but it was broken beyond repair.
I checked around more and we found another mask, which was intact and looked like it had never been used. Abby carefully wiped it down and she saved it for Lev, knowing this was his only ticket through the lower floors.

Those clicking sounds are the absolute worst thing to hear in the dark, in such a scary game. I'm at least out in an open world where I can plan my next move, but look at you, surrounded with monsters in a creepy hotel.
