Lev discovered a hidden path that led us to a steep cable descent. After passing a melted corpse and a risky ledge, we were ambushed by a hiding Stalker. I used my hearing ability to eliminate a Clicker with a shotgun before fending off more Stalkers with Lev's help.

Lev found a way that I didn't noticed earlier, which first ascended us through a narrow crawlspace. We climbed higher of the building, just to look for a way to descend further into the darkness to reach the lower levels.

As we found a big cable going downwards through a central shaft, I jumped on it without hesitation. While climbing down into the gloom, I noticed Lev was following me at the same time, moving with an agility that made the dangerous drop look effortless and easy.

After getting below on the floor, I noticed there was a melted dead body fused into the fungal growth. We then had to pass this risky edge of the collapsed floor, pressing our backs against the cold concrete to avoid falling into the abyss lurking just inches away.

Suddenly, this stalker attacked me out of nowhere, who was actually hiding inside a growth on the wall. I had to take care of it with quick melee strikes before it could sink its teeth in. The struggle was loud, echoing through the silent, spores-filled corridor.

Then on our way, I noticed there was a clicker relaxing against a doorway, who would attack me for sure if I stepped any closer. But fortunately, I used the hearing ability to pinpoint its exact location and movement. I stayed low, keeping my breathing shallow and controlled.

After distracting the clicker to come out a little into the light, I shot it with shotgun shells. And when I went close to it to confirm the kill, I noticed the head of it was blown perfectly.

Then suddenly, another stalker attacked us on our way and caught us off guard from a dark side room. But it was no match for the two of us as Lev provided the distraction I needed to land a fatal blow. We were becoming a lethal team.

When I was looking around to find an exit way, there came another stalker from behind a pile of rubble. I didn't give it a chance to get close to me as I opened fire and took it down real fast. The room finally went quiet again, for the time being.
We'll check what happens next in another post.

Your screenshots made it feel like a horror sequence rather than a normal combat mission. The sudden Stalker ambushes and narrow ledges created a horror vibe throughout the entire post.
It was a horror sequence, man. Sometimes it feel like I'm living the horror experience myself.
Using your hearing ability to lure the Clicker into the light was a smart move. It is much better than trying to fight it in a cramped doorway.
I didn't use the ability to lure it, I used the ability to find its location hidden behind that wall. I lured it by throwing something, I guess.

You handled all the Clicker really well. Using the hearing ability before pulling the trigger with the shotgun was smart and tense. The description of confirming the kill afterward made the encounter brutal.
It was tough, but I'm happy it worked out.
