Your favourite contest prizes? ... with SBI shares for answering
#MeatyMondays trial a success!
Thank YOU to each and every one of you that participated in my #MeatyMondays weekly contests over the last 2 or so months. The trial has shown potential, and Jimmy's Sauces has agreed to put in some more fiat so that I can buy STEEM and reward you for another 3 months. \m/
The question is thus:
From March onwards a new round of contests will begin and I would like to know from you what you would like to see as prizes in the weekly contest.
Currently I give 5 x @IncinBoost shares to the 1st 5 that enter, and 7 x @SteemBasicIncome shares to 7 random entries, as well as that Jimmy's Sauces Hamper.

The Jimmy's Sauces hamper is a certainty... but I'm a big fan of @SteemMonsters, and I'm thinking of throwing in a few cards (or maybe a booster/starter pack voucher) every week instead... Yes/No?

The more answers I get the more likely the contest will appeal to more participants, and more participants = more interest from real-world sponsors = more rewards for YOU.
As per the #ContestKings credo though: NO Upvotes or Resteems are required to win the SBI shares... do that only if you are feeling generous today :P

I'm thinking the same thing... I'm LOVE @SteemMonsters, and even though there are lots of contests giving cards away, they are all well received. ... I just don't want to alienate my current following that don't play... which is the majority of them ... hence the idea to give away a starter pack (but with the current price of STEEM that would probably be the only prize up for offer every week).

SBI are really amazing prizes as they commit people to long term relations. This is why I love them, and I started also to give them away. In addition, with SBI your account become more and more powerful, so it's a win-win situation.

Yeah... I love @SteemBasicIncome too... with the price of STEEM being down, it's really cheap to get in on the action, and in a few months/years from now (wish it was days) when STEEM is up again, everyone is gonna wish they bought in as much as the could. :P
Also, a big fan of @IncinBoost ... Payout/Share is more than SBI, but because I don't vote daily, and Incin doesn't "stack" missed votes on the days... I prefer the SBI shares.
Re Jimmy's commitment: Thanks... this is just the beginning. Hoping to get a lot more non-Steemian sponsors onboard... #WatchThisSpace ;-)

The sauce is hamper is a given... that will be a prize in every contest. BUT sadly, no... only ships to South Africa (unless you're willing to pay the shipping yourself).

I really like the steemmonsters starter pack voucher idea. So far my only steemmonsters are cards I've won or been gifted. I don't play though because I haven't bought a starter pack.
If I won one it'd be doubly cool because (1) I'd take part in the game, and (2) I could continue to see how far I could grow without ever having bought a card.

I should calculate the present value of the future cash flow of SBI and compare it with 0.5 Steem, considering also the risks. (risk: the probability of the unwanted end of SBI flows.)

High yield bonds can pay also 8-12-14 percent p. a., but in case of companies with financial problems, with very high risks.

a) It's not really a 0.005 "return", but rather a 0.005 Steem vote value per week per share... i.e. if you don't post, you don't get the vote.
b) Shares are only "sort of transferable", and can only be sold for less than their purchase price ... or kept indefinitely.
Than the income is 0.005520.75=19.5 cents/year, I suppose.
People pay 0.5 SBD for 0.005 Steem vote value per week?

It's a Trading Card Game (a (VERY) short overview: you collect cards from which you select a 'team' which then battle against a team from someone else's collection).
