As you probably know, I started doing a little gold prospecting last year with the help of @derekrichardson who has given me lots of tips, tricks and pointers along the way.
I have been able to find some small placer gold using pans and sluice boxes, but have never found any gold nuggets with my metal detecting pinpointer. I use the pinpointer to check the bigger rocks that do not go through the classifier.
So I decided to order a few gold nuggets that are about the smallest size that could not get through my classification screen to see if my pinpointer will actually pick them up. Here are the gold nuggets I ordered:
The three nuggets weigh a combined 2 grams.
The good news is that the pinpointer did pick up even the smallest one, which was about half a gram, but you had to be almost touching it to get the hits. That should OK, as I normally stuff the pinpointer in all the rocks - the bottom line is that I have never thrown out a nugget with the big rocks so that is positive.
I now also have some more gold to add to my collection. Buying nugget specimens carries a bigger premium than buying bullion gold rounds/coins, plus gold nuggets are not .999 pure, but I am happy to add this gold to my precious metal inventory.

Those are nice nuggs! I have found a few at east fork in Los Angeles sluicing but it has been a really long time since I've gone out there. I love panning, it's a great hobby. Have a !BEER on me

LOL Nuggs?!?!? ITS GOLD dude. I actually prefer cannabis oil but i dont like that i can evaporate it all ut imagien if u could smoke gold
im sure some anunaki aliens do use gold like a drug and imagine being able to just eat gold teh way you can just smoke weed and its gone lol

Nice u got free silver when u bought some gold? Man gold and silver is so funny lol. metal money. like people will always want silver and gold and silver still hasnt had its global money phase yet it could happen anytime, people could start buying silver as a physical bitcoin lol. it just has to be done with a silver scot bot where you use the silver token to pay for the actual advertising OF silver lol.... neoxag i thought was going to be about real silver but its not goin in that direction ... so there's a huge opportunity for @aggroed to even enable staking scot and nitrous for his aggroed AGAG silver that is backed by silver he can just create a very low supply of silver that u can cash out any time, it will be a great silver backed scot token, maybe the price will go above siver but market will probly value it at at least silver price since you will be able to cash it out.
