I am pretty sure that my latest obsession is born from procrastination.
Recently, I have encountered a storage issue.
Put simply - I have too many photos stored on too many devices and they all seem to have reached their capacity. The issue has arisen from years of bad habits. Instead of deleting my duds or duplicate photos of the one event or product I keep them all. Just in case. Since increasing my storage is not really solving the problem, I am addressing it head on. Pouring back over tens of thousands of photographs, ruthlessly culling my collection is proving very time consuming.
My creative brain can only stay on task in short bursts.
In between examining photos, I am getting blissfully carried away with creative photo editing. I decided to give this new project a name....
Pattern Pirate
A beautiful fusion of lovely photography and playful digital manipulation.
Here are a few of my latest ones.
Enjoy.

Until next time,

the foto at number 4...!
arent it, thers is a material or not....?
Hi @malow. The fourth photo - the original photo is of baskets on cement with painted daisies on the cement. The pattern behind the basket was added in, and yes it is a piece of beautiful linen.
Those are some nice, subtle additions to those photos! Each one really warrants a close look. These would be great for an exhibit. Because there is more to see than what a first glance reveals. Nice way to make something out of procrastination! ; )
Thank you @haphazard-hstead. Maybe Pattern Pirate will have to stick around even once my task list is done :)
you're welcome!
