Adopting a child is way harder than giving birth to one. That’s because for many, it’s a matter of being intentional and actually wanting the child. That’s the only thing that will make you see it through to the end. Anything else, and you’d most likely find yourself tired of the entire process. For you to be allowed to adopt a child, you first have to show the government that you’re ready to take care of the child, and you have to keep proving it.
But for giving birth, for some, the price for entry is just being fertile. That’s why, whether you want it or not, once you have unprotected sex, the likelihood of getting pregnant rises. You don’t have to prove anything, you don’t have to show that you’re ready for the baby. It just comes to you. This is the stark difference between the two scenarios.
When adopting, a lot goes into it. Because the government has to ascertain that you’re bringing the child into a stable home, one where you can provide every single thing they’d need. From schooling to accommodation and clothing, it will all be on you. There is a long bureaucratic process that adoptive parents have to go through, and for a lot of people, they might find it tiring and frustrating. But then, all these are done for the sake of the child.
If the prospective parents are not checked out properly, they could end up handing the children over to criminals, traffickers, or people who will use the children in one criminal act or another. It’s also to ensure that they don’t starve or are not used as slaves in homes where they should be loved. This is because you’d be shocked to find out how easy it is for people to do to other people’s children what they can’t do to their own.
People are known to maltreat orphans, and they also take advantage of the homeless because of the support that the government provides to such families. There are just so many ways that things could go wrong in all this, which is why the process is tight, because everyone and everything needs to be vetted properly. Nothing must slip through the cracks. Because if there is even one error, the child suffers from it. Maybe for the rest of their lives.
So no… It’s not too much. It might be hard, but I can assure you that the stress that the process of adopting a child would put you it won’t be up to a quarter of what the child itself will put you through when you finally adopt it. So, see the long arduous process as a rehearsal.

I support the long process needed prior to adopting a child otherwise some humans who have lost their conscience will just Maltreat the adopted child anyhow with the mindset thst he or she is an orphan
