When you're home, you get distracted by many things; chores, family duties, other habits of yours, sleep(very important, lol!)! However, during commute, the books are what distracts you from the long and tedious journey. During lunch, the same happens, it distracts you from a quiet and boring meal. And thus it goes. Thanks to all that, you'll be able to invest enough time and be hooked enough that even when you get home, you'll still be able to read some more.
My suggestion would just be to restructure your time. Maybe you don't have reading keyed in, and that's why it's hard to find your way around it. But I'm sure that with some reshuffling, you could squeeze out an hour or thirty minutes, to dedicate to your favorite novels.
Please, don't let the stress of life rob you of the joys of getting lost in a good story! You're doing well.
